Don’t get misled by that scary number 13 here. It’s just a number. Let us just focus on the amazing tracks of this edition of our infamous Terminal series. Koen Groeneveld is kicking off once again with a banging Techno gem that reminds us of his 2008 no.1 hit “Wake Turbulence“. Big percussive lead sounds and enormous atmospheric FX-es are dominating this instant dancefloor killer. The second track “Katniss” is a collab between Koen and a mysterious female newcomer by the name of JELA. A raw big room tune with a strong German feel to it. Back to the rave era of the early 90s it is with the last banger on this compilation: KG is an alter ego of Koen Groeneveld and when operating under this moniker Koen occasionally likes to take things back to the oldschool. This one sounds like it was made more than 20 years ago but will do the job today for sure when dropped to the right crowd.

"Stay" began during a jam session where I was experimenting with a new virtual instrument I had just picked up called Anamorph. There was no intention to write a full track at the time; I was simply exploring what the instrument could do. Because of that, I wasn’t too precious about the parts I was laying down but I quickly grew fond of the idea forming! It all started with the main riff. I loved how it evolved over time and I kept jamming with it. Everything fell into place from there! “Stay" has since become one of the most requested IDs in my sets, and it’s always a lot of fun to play live! Such is the volume of quality music Adam Beyer receives throughout the course of the year, releasing all of it would be impossible.
