My friends, I am excited to share with you my live recording from my opening of Esoteric Festival this year. 
It was an amazing experience after two years of waiting to grace the mighty Ascension Stage with some good old-fashioned Acid Psy-Trance and Stereo Society stompers and to play the first set at this incredible festival for the very first time. 
The set was very well received by all and I enjoyed the hell out of it, was an unexpectedly busy and heaving hour and a half of morning and daytime acid wobblies.

Had such an amazing time being back with the prog sesh family, the vibes there are unmatched by any weekly night I have ever been to. Very excited to play there again in the future :)

Gifting the FUNK back to specifically FUNKY DARK PROG

I recently had the chance to play in the mighty main room of the infamous Inflation Nightclub for Rehabs Shroom Magic- Night of Psy.

KOFDADDY @ SHROOM MAGIC

This is a live recording of my first chance to sooth a doof dance-floor with some proper morning bush prog to help welcome in the Saturday Psy-Sesh. I played a lot of recycled tunes in this one, but they are all so pretty and fit together so nicely so I really wanted to share it with you all. I am sorry for the lack of many new tunes, but imagine hearing it on that beautiful summer morning you have been fanging all year for. It was a really lovely start to an incredible weekend.

KOFDADDY @ ELYSIUM FESTIVAL 2018

Hey guys here is my most recent set from My Aeon supporting the kings of tha bush prog Twisted Sibling. I opened up the evening 10-12 before the jazz prog stylings of Gumnut, resulting in this set having an irregular flow compared to my usual mixes- 136 to 138 back down to 132bpm,  peaking in the middle. 
A mix of all but one Zenon tunes and artists focusing on heavy synths, pretty melodies and spooky atmospheres, all tied together with some of the funkiest percussion money can buy.

KOFDADDY is a young dance-floor dweller from Melbourne, Australia who has discovered a rare passion for psychedelic trance music, specialising in Aussie Bush-Prog and Acid Psy-Trance. At the age of 17 he was gifted a DJ controller and begun learning the art of mixing different types of electronic music, and after some time experiencing some of Melbourne’s night life learned of psy-trance, sparking further interest and passion for DJing, sending him down a new path of musical exploration. Being a drummer since the age of 8, he quickly developed a good understanding of the hypnotic time structures and funky percussion offered in psychedelic and progressive trance, and he was instantly hooked.

After spending the last two years as a resident DJ at Progression Sessions (My Aeon), and providing support for some of the worlds largest acts (DEKEL, Phaxe, Liquid Soul, Grouch, Merkaba), he has developed a versatile catalogue of music ranging from slower funky Zenonesque and crunchy Bush Prog up to some full power Hypnotic Psychedelic Trance. Paired with his mixing skills and ability to build a journey set, he quickly gained a name for himself as someone who knows how to control a party.

The last year has been spent on his own music production journey, spending less of his time on sets and more on slowly learning and chipping away at his own original soundscapes, which you can soon expect to start hearing in the new year.
