Sydney has been dying for the return of dance music events and the response to the We Can Dance show this Easter long weekend has been overwhelming. KohBeats #11: Smoky Sub Dreamz

Here is the complete recording of my set from the latest Redwood Tree Disco. It's a unique location nestled amongst the redwood trees in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco. This series of parties started during Covid and this was their 10th event - great to be a part of this series and group of people.

I played an earlier set from 9:30-11:30pm which meant I started with some more down tempo tracks and then built into some deeper and more uplifting tunes, with tracks that suit this wonderful location in nature. It is very special to connect with people through music and enjoy these moments together.

I had a fantastic time playing on the DeMentha / Sound Garden stage at the San Francisco Burning Man Decompression. It was a beautiful warm sunny day and there were amazing vibes everywhere, and it felt right to play an uplifting set with a few throwbacks thrown in for good measure. I hope you enjoy it!

Here is a recording of my closing set at the DeMentha Halloween Party in a private warehouse venue in San Francisco. I landed back in the US only a few hours before my set but on arrival at the venue the DeMentha crowd and our gracious hosts made me feel right at home. The crowd was really up for a dark and dirty Halloween bash which allowed me to play more techno than some of my other sets which I really enjoyed, with some house grooves sprinkled throughout to give a bit of warmth. Bonus points if you know the final track of the night I played during the encore...hint: it's an Australian classic dance track 🇦🇺 🦘

And yes I was dressed as the most iconic Aussie of 2024...the one and only Raygun 😅
