There's a particular energy about Nikolaj you feel instantly, a sincerity and grace to his craft that pierces through his sky blue eyes. As you will hear, he's a very special digger continuously managing to find magical tracks that slipped through the cracks of time. Vlad offers a dark minimal opening, in an ocean of textures and tiny details. Supported by efficient basslines, a Slavic vocal mesmerize the listener. It’s only then that a shift in the mood occurs, drifting to groovy rominimal tracks and high-energy dream sequences. For all the duration of the journey, the artist carefully oscillates between light tracks and darker joints in a powerful combo. At times, we shiver with nasty laughs and creepy monk chants that recall occult ceremonies. We find the light again with stellar driving joints, and it goes on and on, with a cool human feeling in the mixing. The ending fades away on an abstract flavour that keep the mind in a meditative state for a moment.
