'Youth' from French producer vssp is a collection of ambient and electronica tracks produced two years after a life changing accident.

The album was almost exclusively composed, produced and mixed on the Akaï MPC One, with a heavy use of synths and samplers such as Korg Minilogue XD, Elektron Digitone and Digitakt.

Folklore, the 4th single from my upcoming album Provenance, was inspired by the darkly mystical, beautifully twisted mangrove forests of the American South, told through the lens of solo violins, string orchestra, mandolin and electronics. I wanted to capture the suspended magic of the hanging Spanish moss in the violin suspensions and flickers of light, narrated through with the melodic rattle of gnarled trunks and boughs.

3歳よりピアノを始める。高校はピアノ、大学は声楽科を卒業。19歳で尺八と出合い大学卒業後、藤原道山氏に師事。
NHK総合テレビ《うたコン》に出演。ソニーミュージックより発売されBamboo FluteOrchestra「尺八Classic」でメジャーデビュー。現在様々なジャンルのミュージシャンと共演し、国内外で演奏活動を行う。日本大学藝術学部音楽学科卒業。都山流尺八楽会准師範、師範試験共に首席登第。
