Your Face In The Stars

Stargazing is a piece I composed in 2019. It has references to Your Face in the Stars, but it also gives off its own unique vibe with the ascending and descending arpeggios in both the harp and the piano. It's meant to be a lullaby in a way, although it contradicts the genre with its fast meter.

Stargazing

This is a piece I composed during the coronavirus pandemic. At the time, I had been going through ups and downs in my emotions. My work ethic for online school had dropped significantly, I was going through a significant break up, and I had no clear future in mind after high school.

I created this piece out of the emotions I bottled up at the time. Unfortunately, I do not have the piano skill to play this myself, otherwise I'd rather upload my own performance of this, but it is what it is. I hope you enjoy listening to my composition!
