I've been busy sharpening my blade, putting in the work and it's not something I should shy away from saying because it's fucking truth fam! The Swamiii can attest to this because we've built entire catalogues from the ground up. I know... Zero chills on the flexing today but, there's no time like the present and even now we're all constantly in a state of self-improvement wherever we are, at work, school or at home. Small efforts one day at a time translate into astonishing growth over time. 🐛 .... 🦋

Why Would I Lie

The artwork to this song is a painting by my close friend Aswani Japheth ( https://www.instagram.com/okwatsa_aswani/ )He named the painting "The Tree of Eyes" and talked about it every chance he got. He said trees are living organisms with the ability to feel. Trees have knowledge, wisdom and awareness.

This photo was taken by me, on a Sunday afternoon walk in the woods along with Mwongeli(who's hand is shown in the photo) and Aswani. We had some amazing conversation on this day under the sunset about nature and trees. It was healing. 

Aswani is no longer with us in this physical realm. He passed on in 2019 in an unexpected manner, gone too soon. 

I dedicate this song to him, to the memories we shared and to the wisdom he left me through the conversations we had. 

I hope that through this song, more people will get to see The Tree Of Eyes.
