I allowed myself only one big blowout with my Xmas/NY loot this time - a Minifreak (my eurorack fever broke long ago, so nvm that it's lacking the boffin-requisite 3.5mm CV outs blah blah blah).

It's good to just twiddle knobs and mash keys for an immediate output, I figured, even if I'm untrained on keyboard and my main aspiration is hard-edged techno... satisfied with the choice.

Good to be doing something slowing, channeling some of that prodigious hyperfocus towards something nourishing for the first time in... how long?
