Colorjaxx is an artist we have long admired at GU. Right from his early releases on Salted and Large, his clever samples and hypnotic hooks struck a chord with us. Since then, he's delivered some deep house gems. His brilliant remix for Oliver Schories' "Clu" on Pracht was one of 2022's finest deep moments, and his "Sing The Sound" on Large is the kind of slow-burning jack we adore. During these last few years, we've been back and forth, searching for the right release for us to do. At last, with "Let Me Love You", we have found it. A superb instrumental sample with soaring 70s strings drives the groove while deep yet punchy bass underpins the song, and a sweet soul vocal tops the lot - pure house heaven.

TWENTY SIX's version of "Stan" is one of our biggest records of recent times. Despite not setting the sales charts alight on release, it has grown into a cool AF party record that you hear everywhere, from underground basements to Fisher roadblocks. We love that version but wanted a deeper, more emotional mix to warm the dancefloor and tug the heartstrings, so we asked Kevin McKay to add his touch. And boy, did he deliver. Usually, hearing such an oft-used hook turns us off, but this vocal is so addictive, and Discosteps surrounds it with such a beautiful backing that you will find this low-slung, deep house gem hard to ignore - pure warm-up bliss.

Kylie Minogue's "Slow" is an electronic music masterpiece. Co-written with Dan Carey (Mr. Dan, Sunday Best) and Emilíana Torrini ("Jungle Drum", Lord of The Rings!), it is the kind of slow-burning pop music we love to hear on the radio. There have been some cracking edits over the years; Vlad Bretan's take jumps to mind, as does Daniel Meisters from last year. So, when our new favourite vocalist, Rose Moncado, dropped off a demo of the Kylie bomb, we thought, let's get these two people together. Daniel loved Rose's vocals and updated his mix to this deep-driving groovefest you have here. It's a peach!
