This album is perfect for the chill zones, with sliding pads, pleasant harmonies and haunting vocals. Dreamy, chiming trance music that glides effortlessly from the abstract 'High Moon' to the Krautrock-influenced 'Something Outside' and the drifting solar voyage of 'Under the Stars'. The occasional languid female vocal sample and the frequent use of vintage Moog sounds give these tranquil tracks a transporting quality that's almost hypnotic to welcome a new bright and optimictic morning.

Both emotionally stirring and provocative, "My Heart Is Love" is the second LP from East-Coast collaborative brainchild Aligning Minds. The nine track album, due for release January 29th via Gravitas Recordings, is a finely tuned venture evoking imagery of an ethereal future-city. While no two tracks sound the same, Aligning Minds does a beautiful job stitching together this sundry collection of songs seamlessly and in an engaging way. Perfectly blended sections of classic electro and intricate breaks merge with vaporous psychedelic synth-scapes, causing genre lines to blur as the countless influences wash through.

Although the album starts off moody with the ambient "Streaming Live", things quickly shift gears when "Ether Perfect" ushers in a heavy dose of modulating sub. Meticulous sound design marks the melancholy title track, but the tension repeatedly resolves with each new tier the piece traverses. "A Noble Truth" and "In The Wake of Forever" both opt for more of a hip hop pace, trading agile shuffles for an abiding percussive stroke. The textured saw-waves that make up the bassline in "Bright Flames" add to an overall nebulous vibe, later cemented with haunting, stuttering strings. "Weeping Willow" alters the progression near the close with a bold 2-step beat, accentuated by a multiplex of blips and clicks.

Va- Kokopelli Conscious Dreams

Once upon a time in the small streets and alleys of the redlight district in Amsterdam there was a smartshop called Kokopelli. The brightly coloured shop provided a little oasis for its psychedelic friends in between the illustre businesses in its neighbourhood. Many a traveller has entered the shop for some psychedelic candy and closed his eyes in the chillout area in the back of the shop to enjoy some closed eye visions or control his uncontrolable laughter. 
After ten years of legal psychedelic culture it felt like a good time to release a cd with some of the relaxing sounds and trippy atmospheres that the shop is known for. A chill out release for all to enjoy during leisure activities. Friendly vibes and funky beats. Trippy sounds and swirling tones. Moving miracles and miracle moves. Refreshing scapes and soothing glides.

Over the years many upcoming talents have had the chance of trying out their skills and ideas in the shop and for this release the same idea was adopted. Mostly new artists with some well known names. The album is compiled by Veer & Supergroover.
