Having started out in the early 2010’s, Mario Campo quickly joined the famous Pole Group after a string of big releases that saw him rise up in the Spanish scene. His music remains highly immersive and almost atmospheric, but where his music seemed to have more of a dub roundness to it a few years back, his productions nowadays have reduced in sonic depth but gained in impact. 

Kwartz has been able to differentiate himself while being highly complementary to the contemporary scene by combining his cloudy style with Spanish club efficiency to make weapons on wax.

Volster has been making a name for himself as an artist dedicated to the groove, delivering consistent quality both in terms of music and events. His "all hands on deck" approach has him involved in the entire process, from producing the bangers to playing the decks in the club as well as planning the parties themselves. His efforts have spawned two promising labels, Secession and Out of Place, pushing his style of warm, organic, mlnimalistic techno.  It is a style he grew up enjoying during the 90's and has refined since then, picking up certain elements and refining others, until he found the sound he can finally call his own. Labels like Edit Select or Vakuum have already signed his work, and many more are certainly to come. The croatian maestro has been all over Europe playing in some of the best clubs, even Berghain, and has build up the successful "TRAUM" party series, hosting some of the best artists in the game. Our 107th FrenzyPodcast, and 3rd of this year’s December Series, will be provided by Lobster. Lobster is a familiar face for us, as he provided the 46th FrenzyPodcast, a little over 2 years ago. Since then Lobster has developed and matured his sound a lot which is why we’re happy to have to have him over for another round on the Series. 

2021 wasn’t the easiest year, again, but that didn’t hold Lobster back. He told us: “For me 2021 was all about shaping my sound, dj/produce wise. I strongly believe a set requires a continuous flow of rhythmic tension. This way I’m constantly working towards something unknown, but still maintaining the energy and groove.”

That thought has been translated well in the mix Lobster created this time, which contains a very solid groove, rhythmic tension, some delightful vocal chips and more, which will captivate you from the start.

Podcast No 49 comes from @Volster who has gradually become one of the most noted figures of the Croatian electronic scene, leaving his signature through production, DJing, event organisation and running a label imprint: @secessionrec.

The main subculture Marko was positively exposed to in the 90’s was techno, a style he has been practising for almost two decades now. As he was performing within and outside the Croatian borders, Volster gradually started experimenting and developing his signature textured sound leading him to sing and publish his work across his own labels and others such as Edit Select, @Vakum-Records and @northallsenrecords to name a few.

To this day, Volster has performed all across Europe ranging from clubs to festivals like Dimensions Festival and Modem Festival which brought him to his most notable appearance and debut performance at @berghain in September 2019.

kolek3k is a DJ, music enthusiast and an audio engineer hailing from Osijek, Croatia. His career started back in 1999 at first just as a DJ but soon to be followed by some of his first events. Kolek3k has been a well known name on the local scene and in the promoter’s circle since 2003. That alone wasn’t enough of a challenge so he decided to fully commit himself to learning as much as possible about the art of making the music. As of 2012. kolek3k is also an audio engineer with London Middllesex University diploma. In 2014 he started his brand Koscak Audio for event organising, producing / mix / mastering audio in his mastering studio and acoustic treatment in small and big rooms. 
kolek3k has played with a quite large number of well known DJs over the years and also hosted numerous events under various organisational monikers. TRAUM is without a doubt the strongest and the most recognisable brand of them all. TRAUM collective is a direct result of a years long collaboration with Insolate and Volster and since its very beginning in 2014 it has been the strongest brand for underground electronic music in the country. Beside TRAUM, kolek3k has also launched an  event collective called REZ which is more focused on promoting up and coming DJs leaning more towards the house music sphere.
