Following a great 2019 for the American pop singer Billie Eilish, Kollektief decided to add to the hype by making a dope remix (bootleg) of Billie’s greatest hit: Bad Guy.
The original song has a fast-paced but laid-back house feel which makes it unique but also gives room for improvement. Kollektief spices things up by halfing the tempo but increasing the intensity and adding some breaks and build-ups for dramatic effect. On the drop, the bass hits you in the face and the synth hook of the original is used in a creative way to add some life on top.
It’s a very fun energized remix but it also maintains the sound of the original song.
