For our next release we get visited from the far north of the two Hamburg friends Metatext & Karhua, who are well known for making dope music.

 

Their new creation is the Lungern EP, equipped with three original tracks and ready to take off. Beautiful remixes are coming from the usual suspects Deep Ändi & Deisen who are always up for fun. You can expect some dancefloor weapons on this release that will let the audience drift to higher grounds.

 

As always, a big thank you goes to Kilian Van de Water for the great artwork and to Metatext for the tight masters. We hope you love this episode of our trip as much as we do.

This time the two producers ele & mowo  sent us this beautiful EP called Shades of the Remote.

ele & mowo have found their very own style in their productions. A combination of playful melodies and the super organic, minimalist percussions let set their tracks in a dreamy but still dance able shiny light. That could be a rough description of their music.
The EP includes three awesome remixes by Deisen, Kon Faber and Bisu & Jularis.

When we first heard the tracks by Niju and Malü, our thoughts wandered straight to the beautiful time of the festival season. With their light-footedness and the still pressing bass, they are perfect for making the crowd shake at sunrise in the forest on a Monday morning.

To round off the matter properly, our musical heroes from the very beginning Ninze and Kleintierschaukel with Chrischou contributed a crisp remix.

NYC event brand Zero launch their new label arm with a superb new EP from German live artist Jacob Groening that comes with remixes from Lovecraft and unders & Noraj Cue. It comes after years of releasing on other vital outlets and establishing himself as a unique voice in the house underground.

Opener Nican feat. Joy Tyson is a deep and spiritual house roller. The lush drums and hits sink you into a cavernous groove and majestic, wispy synths and percussion add the vital detail. Timo slows right down and has finger clicks and a rugged synth riff over the lazy, loveable drums. It's a super nice vibe thats as thoughtful as it is deep.

Timo (Lovecraft Remix) is more upright, but stays just as deep, taking you late into the night on distant synth smears with a rising lead occupying the mind. Jacob Groening - Nican (unders & Noraj Cue Remix) is the most direct of them all, but the airy and angelic vocals keep it heady and spiritual.

This is a tasteful EP of richly rewarding deep house

Having made a name for himself with a constant output of unique releases, Ber- nese artist Geplantes Nichtstun debuts on Heimlich with his „Illusion of Knowled- ge“ EP. Like a lonesome rider in the desert, the opening track „Schub“ combines dusty guitar sounds and detuned arpeggios, with subtle vocal snippets and orga- nic percussions adding a touch of saloon atmosphere. „Spagat“ is an aptly titled balancing act between playful lead sounds and wind players adding an extra layer to the arrangement. Led by the extraordinary vocals of Christine, building upon a foundation of powerful but clear drum sounds and a predominant bass- line „Remember Me“ is an energetic banger. Berlin-based Santi & Tugce trans- form „Schub“ into an emotional hymn by adding drum recordings as well as an arpeggio line as the center of attention, putting the original‘s guitar samples to creative use.
