Fun fact: when PVC was founded in 2018 the first “Plenum” took place in amorizont's living room. Much has happened since then. He moved to Bremen, started Djing in 2020, is co-founder and part of team.ancora. Influenced by Italo and Dark Disco music, his aim is to combine both impulsive beats and emotional melodies. amorizont never broke his connections to Leipzig. That's why he is super happy to contribute his mix to the PVC series.

gentle melodies, euphoric segments and dark dreamy layers create a cozy warm ambience and describe our latest mix by flax from weimar. as part of the metaware, which is a flinta* network that has set itself the task of supporting female, lesbian, intersexual, non-binary, trans and agender artists, this recording is also largely peppered with female-read producers, who have had a great impact on her in the recent years.

the kfpnyx mix series includes many sub kinds of electronic music, especially rough and melodic techno, house, electro, breakbeat and ambient. for this purpose we want to involve our residents, friends of the crew and selected guests.

Ipnotica Erotica's latest release expresses the essence of what the label stands for. The first track takes up the same name as the label, which like a mantra is repeated throughout. Key clef uses herself as the image of her video for this track, expressing in its content her concept of liberation through movement and the hedonistic perception of one's body by connecting through sound. Soffocare is a proof of great synthesis mastery, made mostly in live recordings, an ever-evolving track with a carefree sound and playful rhythms that chase each other while its title contradicts this feeling as reality from the perception of it. In the B-side track Key clef brings what for her is the flow of parties in Berlin clubs, a continuous vortex of movement, sounds and voices. The provocative sound and the visceral laughter make this track pure dynamite for the dance floor.

Tissling (Voitax/Berlin) and Stomp (KFPNYX/ Leipzig) are bonded by a long friendship and their passion for music and curating events with the thuringia based collective kfpnyx from the very first minute. While their solo sound displays rather different directions, they have found some common ground around the realms of Jungle and DnB. Therfore they teamed up in the east of Leipzig for some Spagetti w/ Anchovis and recorded this journey through heavy hitting basses, rolling drums, granular pads, loaded with lots of energy. PVC Podcast 093 LILICIOUS

After five years of planning, writing, and refining their sound, London-based production duo Kolectiv are set to release their long-awaited debut drum & bass album, Circadian Rhythms.

The project began in the aftermath of the pandemic, when the pair started setting aside tracks that captured the spirit of a night out at a drum & bass event. Their vision was clear: to create an album that reflects the variety, energy, and progression of a rave – from the first beats that pull you into the closing sounds that carry you home.

“Going out to drum & bass nights, you’d hear so many different flavours across six or seven hours. We wanted the album to follow that same arc – like a circadian rhythm, a natural flow of time, but in this case the cycle of a rave,” Kolectiv explain.

To achieve this, the duo placed a strong emphasis on originality and sound design. Most of the album was built from scratch using their own recorded samples, crafted through sessions with keys, drums, and guitars, and only dipping into external sources when absolutely necessary. Vocal collaborations from PAV4N, Hijak MC, Illmatika and Kerry Donnelly add unique flavour to the project, while carefully placed interludes tie the project together as a complete listening experience.

“This isn’t just a collection of tracks. We wanted it to be a journey – a cradle-to-grave kind of experience – with highs, lows, and moments to breathe.”

The title Circadian Rhythms captures that intention perfectly: an audio diary of a night spent immersed in drum & bass culture, told through Kolectiv’s trademark blend of technical precision and emotional depth.

The project also coincided with a complete studio overhaul, giving Kolectiv a fresh environment to finalize and mix down the record with a renewed sense of clarity and focus.

With Circadian Rhythms, Kolectiv deliver more than an album – they present a story, an atmosphere, and a tribute to the music and culture that shaped them.
