Berlin based bird mixes disco and house music since 2018 and creates her own sounds soon after. Zoom in with her into the basic elements of music. Catchy vocals, dreamy chords, and samples you wouldn't expect. The spectrum is wide, but always energetic and with her appearance she embraces every dance floor.

Sara AKA Bubamara is a Swiss DJ with a heart rooted in Hamburg and a soul steeped in music. Her journey began during the pandemic, a time of uncertainty that she transformed into an opportunity to master the art of mixing. With two friends, she co-founded a trio that captivated audiences with their seamless fusion of disco, house, and Italo beats. As her sound evolved, she focused on house music more and more, while keeping the vibrant pulse of the 80s which remains a constant thread in her sets.

Her repertoire already includes a multitude of different dancefloors, from her first, intimate club gigs at Frappant, Nachtasyl, Hafenklang, Rote Flora, Neues Amt Altona and Grüner Jäger, to already debuting on festivals such as Ausversehen and Krepelig, as well as Hamburg's Live Radio Sicnal.

Her performances are more than just music - they’re a celebration of sound, blending the nostalgia of 80s disco and pop with the energy of house, progressive house, acid, 90s, and trance.

Bubamara's passion for music isn’t just heard, it’s felt, making each set a unique and unforgettable experience.
