Andrea Cichecki is an artist inspired by sound and specialised in the field of electronic music. Based in Germany but Dutch with Polish roots, Andrea has been honing her skills intensely during the last few years in order to flourish her creativity. Throughout her life, Andrea has always been fascinated by emotions, human connection and their correlation with music and sound.

Her atmospheric music can be described as a dreamful sound collage, to flow away and to feel emotional. The musical intent is built on a landscape that can go from intense joy to melancholic emotions, a cinematic journey about life and memories. Her main inspiration is finding inner peace by connecting with nature.

For over two decades, Andrea performed as a DJ across Europe. For 7 years, she lived in Berlin where she was deeply involved in the electronic music scene and a regular DJ in renowned clubs such as Club der Visionaere, Hoppetosse, Tresor and About Blank. Having had several releases under her belt, it was time to fulfil her dreams. Andrea decided to study ‘Music Production & Sound Engineering’ at the Abbey Roads Institute and earned her diploma. 
This helped her to enrich her sound, expand her creative mind and further her professionalism.

Now she is in full demand of composing, producing, mixing, mastering as well as working at Castle Studios in the countryside of Röhrsdorf, just outside Dresden.

House music has always been a force — shaping the dance floor and creating connection. In this set, MI$$ JUNIA pays tribute to the pioneers who built the foundations of dance music while celebrating artists pushing the sound forward today as per usual.
In light of Black History Month, she blends classic grooves from Detroit and Chicago with contemporary tracks, all set against visuals from the iconic show Soul Train. With its origins in a UHF station in Chicago, Soul Train offered a genre-expansive and afro-centric space for Soul, R&B, Funk and Hip-Hop where Black artists and dancers thrived. 
As a humble homage to Soul Train’s founder Don Cornelius, may his catchphrase reverberate while you go and listen to this set: „… and you can bet your last money, it’s all gonna be a stone gas, honey! I’m Don Cornelius, and as always in parting, we wish you love, peace… and SOUL!“

Better keep an eye on Berlin-based producer Alex Kassian, who is set to jump on Paramida's Love On The Rocks label rooster to release his (label) debut EP. The artist, who some of you might know as one half of Opal Sunn, a project that he runs with Hiroaki OBA, has put out several pieces of work on labels such as Slowciety, Nick Höppner's Touch From A Distance, Lemon Test or Midnight Theme with his partner in crime, while his solo releases can be narrowed down to his Hidden Tropics EP on Utopia. But as initiallly said Alex has quite some solo ambitions and new music in the pipe and making, which will shortly see the light of day. Until then Kassian provides us with a taste of what is yet to come with his art:cast approach, combining more housey and melodic tracks, old and new smoothly together to an ongoing listening pleasure with deeper aspirations. The DJ and producer surely hit the zeitgeist with this as the selected and currated music seems to create a classy almost classic (musical) statement one can hold on to these days.
