Geboren in London und aufgewachsen in Zürich, hat Alex Macnaughton alias "NAUGHTILUS" von klein auf eine Leidenschaft für Musik. Mit 8 Jahren brachte er sich das Keyboardspielen bei und erkundete später als Teenager die Musikszene Zürichs, die er für eine der besten der Welt hält. Ein Urlaub in Marbella, in dem er sich in die Clubszene verliebte, brachte ihn dazu, DJing als seinen musikalischen Weg zu wählen.

Seine Musik soll Menschen erheben und Ordnung ins Chaos bringen – ein Zufluchtsort, wie die Muscheln, die ihn zu seinem Künstlernamen inspirierten. NAUGHTILUS verbringt unzählige Stunden in seinem Keller, wo er sich in seinen Mixen verliert. Er hat mehrere Mixe auf SoundCloud und zwei selbst produzierte Singles veröffentlicht, die fast 40.000 Streams erreicht haben.

Born in London and raised in Zurich, Alex Macnaughton, also known as "NAUGHTILUS," has had a passion for music from an early age. At 8, he taught himself to play the keyboard and later, as a teenager, he explored Zurich’s music scene, which he believes is one of the best in the world. A turning point in his journey came after a vacation in Marbella, where he fell in love with the club scene and knew DJing was his musical path.

His music aims to lift people up and bring order to chaos—a sanctuary like the shells that inspired his artist name. NAUGHTILUS spends countless hours in his basement, losing himself in his mixes. He has several mixes on SoundCloud and two self-produced singles, which have reached nearly 40,000 streams.
