Very excited to have a special guest in our podcast. The notorious @diskokatze was found roaming through our Bassword Podcast and left some undeniable marks on his journey. Buckle up for straight forward minimal techno underlined with psychedelic elements. Keeping the perfect balance between progressive basslines and deep vibes sweetened with playful spacy sounds, you really can get lost in his music. Also CAUTION…guaranteed increase in bpms of your heart rate.

Raik alias Diskokatze had in the last two years over 200 gigs where he made many people happy with his signature sound. To name a few adresses, he played at Jonny Knüppel, Burg Schnabel, Hamburger BAALSAAL & Fundbureau as well as Best Bar Khao San Road in Bangkok or the  legendaey Oxa Beach Koh Phangan. 

In 2018 Raik alias Diskokatze and a couple of friends established the „Free-Open Air Kollektiv Exit“ to organize their first events in the bush of our capital. 1 year later the next project was in its starting gates and he found the music and event label „Katzenjammer Rec. Berlin“.
Besides he had a great share in realising the „Jubeljahre Festival“ in Galenbeck. He was in charge of design and construction of the stage. 


Born and raised at the Ostsee, you can now find him in Berlin! 

Buckle up for a Journey! Diskokatze definitely marked its Territory in Bassword 🐯No mercy 🔥!

Hier mein Set vom 7.März aus dem Gewölbe. Trotz einiger übungsstunden die Tage vorher, hat es mich kleinen Spross doch etwas aus den Socken gehauen und als ich im kurzen Moment eines hellen Lichtes ,den Dancefloor erhaschen durfte und alle meine Lieblingsmenschen zum supporten sah, kam nicht nur eine Träne zur Gänsehaut dazu, sondern ich hab ALLES vergessen. Dieses Set ist mit so vielen Fehlern gespickt und nicht unbedingt yum hochladen geeignet, aber genau das macht es für mich so wertvoll und ich bin dankbar für diese nie zu vergessende Energie,   in Liebe eure PHI <3

This time we are joined by Kaufmann, another great artist from Berlin, Germany. 

Kaufmann's trip through the techno scene is as energetic and intoxicating as her sound. Her trademark is a fusion of dark minimal sounds and bouncy techno and this makes this Berlin-based artist with Hamburg roots,  unleash dance-crazed crowds week after week at different clubs and venues. 
She has already played Kater Blau in Berlin, Uebel & Gefährlich in Hamburg and Zug der Liebe in Berlin. Recently she started her own club event: “SOG” at Baalsaal club in Hamburg.
There is even more: Her first releases of her own productions is on the way on Soupherb Records and Ein2, adding an unique signature to her style.

Beware of these new releases. We at Kellerhobel have heard them, and they are very nice productions.

In 2019, we founded the "Hand aufs Herz Kollektiv" with the vision to build a local platform for creative exchange. 
Whether musical,cultural or artistic we want to give everyone a stage to present themselves and their work. The cornerstones of our work are sustainability, regionalism and community.
The Electronic Brunch is the first project of our young collective. 

In 2019 haben wir das Hand aufs Herz Kollektiv gegründet mit dem Ziel, eine lokale Plattform für kreativen Austausch zu schaffen. 
Ob musikalisch, gestalterisch oder kulturell wollen wir jedem eine Bühne geben, sich und seine Arbeit zu präsentieren.
Als Grundpfeiler unseres Schaffens gelten für jenes und alle weiteren Projekte die Themen Nachhaltigkeit, Regionalität und Gemeinschaft.
Der Electronic Brunch ist dabei das erste Projekt unseres jungen Kollektives.
