Incredible 10 years have passed since the heartfelt project called @suedpol-hamburg came to life. Incredible 6 years since neither the recording tech nor my inability to use it has messed up a recording. Incredible 5,000,000 moments must be approximately the number that have brought me to this point in my life through this place and the wonderful people who shape it together. Thank you for being there. Special thanks to @ple_xi, for breaking my recording curse, and @josephdisco for mastering the last hour and a half of my three-hour set (it took me the first hour and a half just to warm up after a loooong playing break, maybe I'll upload those retrospectively in 10 years).

The Rotating LP is Planctophob’s new musical offering, which consists of 11 interconnection tracks. Each track is inspired by a distinct main belt asteroid and is designed to be enjoyed individually or merged flawlessly with the adjacent tracks. Beginning with ambient tones, the album transitions into Planctophob's distinctive dark minimal sound before evolving into a dynamic fusion of deep and fast techno melodies.

The album's theme is a poetic exploration of the cosmos, where the asteroid belt serves as a symbol of the relentless rhythm that pervades the universe. Every asteroid, a microscopic reminder of cosmic creation, carries with it a saga of chaos and order, of fiery genesis and silent dissolution. Planctophob masterfully translates these cosmic musings into a sonic voyage, representing the asteroids' orbits as the cyclical pursuit of understanding. This album resonates with the universal human quest for truth, reminding us that amidst the chaos, we are part of a grand, interconnected cosmic narrative of birth, growth and transformation.

The asteroid belt serves as a cosmic reminder that even amidst the apparent chaos of the vast expanse, there is an underlying order, a symphony of motion that speaks to the very heart of creation. In summary, Rotating by Planctophob touches upon themes of creation and destruction, order and chaos, life and death, the infinite and the finite and the quest for meaning and understanding. It serves as a profound metaphor for the human condition, encapsulating our desire to find patterns and make sense of the ever-changing, interconnected fabric of existence.
