Nicolas Vogler is a Brazilian-based techno producer, DJ and mastering engineer.
 
Strongly inspired by the dirty and energetic sound of the 90s, Brazilian-based artist Nicolas Vogler began his music career by DJing at underground events, developing over the years an extensive collection of tracks that reflect his keen research and unique musical identity.
Through his typical funky, fast, and introspective sound, Nicolas started releasing his tracks through his own personal label NCLS which quickly gained notoriety and attracted support from renowned DJs worldwide.
 
Today, Nicolas has a discography that revolves around just over 150 tracks, 30 albums, and 50 mixtapes signed on various labels and collectives of the underground techno scene, such as Mutual Rytm, Planet Rhythm, Suara, Syxt Berlin, Malör Records, Orphic Amsterdam, Frenzy, and Reclaim Your City.

Renewed, we gladly receive our wished and truthful guest Marcelo Antonio to our traditional serie.

The Chilean arcane, despite his young age, exudes skills to become a benchmark in creating compositions and mixes with an intrinsic sound, sophisticated style, and fine-tuned selection.

There is a duality built into the chapter altogether proportional.
Designed to stimulate you, mind and body.
Focused on a hypnotic base, reference to mental connections and dissipated voices that alternate gradually or without warning, between refined rhythms and sequenced environments, invigorating physical energy consistency, and captivating until the end.

The piece itself is a one-way trip in abstract form. The interpretation will be defined by the listener's memory. 
But, what is the memory? 

Scrambled data, stored sequences of impulses in our brain. These scattered fragments are called upon by sensory stimuli and compiled by millions of neuron cells firing impulses to recreate past moments. These rememberings are self-contained. Memories are your own, are unique, and are apparent only to whoever is making them. 

However, the many variations in recollecting a concrete moment form a sort of objective memory for multiple individuals shared collectively. Places, tastes, events,  relived through memories recalled at will or by emotional responses, shared between us are occurred facts.
The past is shaping what we become, and what we belong to.

Owner of a personal and completely distinctive sound, Marcelo Antonio’s mental interpretation summed by hypnotism are the points of attention used in his journey. Focused on the tangent between constant rhythm and breaking lows, he’s searching to find through dance, the equilibrium between body and soul, a state of mind focused on what's happening in the moment of listening, an invitation to be present.

Bad Robot is a Berlin-based DJ and the co-founder of the event series SweetSpot.  She has delevoped a sound distinct for its textures and relentless layering, aimed for creating evolving, rising and emotional soundscapes that reflect the tension of living in an age of mechanization. Tribal drums come to meet violent percussions and raw kicks, nature comes to meet the mechanical, and human comes to meet the stress and the occasional relief that arises from these encounters. In this mix, she curated a special mix of drum and bass selections wrapped up in a cinematic dance atmosphere that is meant to be enjoyed as a full-on journey.

Meet Lumos! With Lumos, he wants to create a dancefloor-oriented feel to the music, but he still experiments with more hypnotic sounds. He tries to find the perfect balance where he can make people dance while also expressing himself artistically. It took him a while to find this specific genre that he plays now. First, he was into hard techno, then hardgroove, and then he discovered the deeper stuff, where his passion grew exponentially. Because he discovered this music on the dancefloor, it's very important to him that the music is made for a dancefloor; it needs that kind of swing.

Bas, a 23-year-old producer and DJ from Arnhem, performs under the name BAJO. His musical journey began early, driven by a passion for creating immersive soundscapes. BAJO’s style is hypnotic, blending calm, spacious percussion with ethereal, spacey sounds to transport listeners to another realm.

He views the opening set as crucial, setting the night’s tone with a slow, enticing build rather than an immediate high-energy burst. His vision is to start with a meditative atmosphere, gradually introducing dynamic elements that add depth and complexity. By using ambient textures and groovy, old-school vibes, he crafts a foundation that is inviting and intriguing.

BAJO believes an opening set should complement the evening’s progression, experimenting with sounds and styles to keep the energy balanced and the audience engaged. While his signature style remains hypnotic and groovy, he incorporates house elements to add a fresh twist, ensuring each set is unique and memorable.

In essence, BAJO’s opening sets are about crafting an auditory journey that builds gradually, captivating the audience and preparing them for the musical adventure ahead.
