Getting to know opal the past years whether it be through music or as a friend, we see a deep passion for music that we see in ourselves..
After connecting on the dance floor & sharing special moments together including playing at our recent events, we feel its right to make opal a mycelium resident.

We asked.. what inspired you to start mixing music? 
“Being involved in a community of likeminded individuals before learning to mix, I was always really intrigued by the artists I’d watch at events / underground party’s and observe how they’d play & how the artist could make me feel so in touch with my emotions on the dance floor, I realised how powerful music is, that’s when I knew I wanted to be a part of creating that energy in the room too”

Her passion for music ignited in her childhood, and since then, she has cultivated a profound sensitivity to the rhythms and beats that define the diverse world of music. This early fascination paved the way for her ongoing exploration of various music genres.

With two years of experience as a resident DJ in a renowned techno club in Southern Germany, Masha has embarked on her independent journey within the techno scene. She is an active contributor to the music culture in Ulm, and she passionately supports underground techno collectives in Stuttgart as a DJ and as a guest.

Masha’s ability to seamlessly blend different moods, creates unexpected yet harmonious musical experiences in her sets. With several years of experience as a musician, her signature sound is characterized by the fusion of organic, primal drum rhythms that draw inspiration from music's roots, combined with contemporary deep basslines, diverse driving grooves, and percussive elements.

For OECUS he prepared a deep, drifting techno installation, that showcases the more modern part of his vinyl collection. This set features forward-thinking productions, well balanced mixdowns, progressive grooves, and an overall atmospheric sound design, promising a captivating auditory journey.
