Salon Imaginalis opens up a new chapter, launching a sub-label. Tanz Salon is the imprint’s new venture dedicated to dance music and club-oriented output. 

The first release on the sub-label is by the Salon Imaginalis boss, Koloah. The Berlin-based Ukrainian producer continues his broken beat explorations with a 5-track EP titled ‘Mind Control’. With recent works touching upon breakbeat, bass, and dubstep, this time around Koloah is putting his twist on classic electro. Staying true to the acid genre tropes, ‘Mind Control’ is cold, sharp, and futuristic, yet it is not deprived of the cinematic quality that is by now a signature to Koloah’s sound.

One of Ukraine's favourite artists, Koloah takes charge of the latest episode of The MUSAR Show and teleports us to a 60-minute space ride through cinematic and sci-fi sounds of breakbeat, sharp electro, and futuristic bass music. Press play and liftoff! 🚀

For more than a decade Koloah aka Voin Oruwu has been responsible for pushing the reputation of Kyiv's music culture to a global scale, producing forward-thinking electronic music under different guises through some of the most of finest labels around, such as Alien Communications, Banoffee Pies, and on his own imprint Salon Imaginalis, a platform for realizing non-genre music.

Inspired by sci-fi classics Koloah mixes sounds reminiscent of film soundtracks with jungle, bass, electro, and trance to create the atmosphere of a nightclub in the city of the future that has come.
His musical path led him to play at some of the leading clubs and festivals around such as Tresor, Berghain, Closer, CTM Festival, Nuit Sonores to name a few...
