Depther explores depth in a way few ever consider. Depth is not emotion, not sensitivity, not the subtle swirl of feelings that ordinary minds mistake for insight. When emotion dominates decision-making in complex systems, it creates chaos. True depth is structural: the ability to perceive the hidden patterns beneath feelings, to see how systems survive or collapse when humans act on emotion alone.

In a world growing ever more complex, emotional identity may become a liability. Only minds capable of structural integration - meta-aware, multi-layered, and detached from emotional turbulence - will sustain the complexity of human life without unraveling it.

Emotional depth fascinates most people, but structural depth is rare. It is the lens that reveals chaos and order simultaneously, the cognitive vantage point that ordinary perception cannot reach. Depther challenges listeners to see what lies beneath, to confront the systems they cannot feel, and to imagine the evolution of minds that can.

emotional needs that can't be met.

and not emotionally, feels mutual.

Parrott - Only Life to Be Lived (Keep the Dream Alive A/V Mix)

In a world where convincement replaces understanding and what is convenient replaces what is right, a new speech comes to life with the intention of bringing humankind out of a state of stagnation.

2009
It’s 01-Feb. Manuel Calvo Kamper sits at his home in Bogota/Colombia, while watching “The Universe” and works on the first song that will be initiation of KOLORS OF ZOUND (A New Beginning).
During the next 1 and 1/2 months he finishes 3 songs, right before his trip to Vienna/Austria.
Already in Austria in November-2009, the first instrumental self produced album of K of Z was released (MISCHUNG).
With this album Manuel managed to submit K of Z to the biggest progmusic’s database of the world (Progarchives).

2010
During the creation of a second album, the idea of making a band out of this project became stronger.
For that some compositions had to be sorted first, because many of Manuel compositions were built in a way, that would work for a solo guitarist project like “Satriani, Vai… etc”.
So the songs that were more guitaristic were left for MISCHUNG, and at the end Manuel put MISCHUNG as an album for his solo project.
The other songs were more balanced in the sense, that all instruments had a leading function (not just the guitar), and so in September-2010 the composition for the instrumental version of the album “Tales from a White Land” was finished.
The first people who joined the project were: The bassist Michal Robert Piatek, the drummer Dominik Scherr and the keyboardist Christo Popov.

2011
The next step was getting a singer, but for that they needed to have the instrumentals perfectly prepared and time was not always there to help.
This led Michal and Dominik to leave the project.
During this year Manuel worked on the project’s LOGO and web design (obviously on more compositions too!).
In summer this year came the bassist Roberto Sensi.
They decided to start recording “Tales from a White Land”, while they kept searching for musicians.

2012
The recordings for “Tales from a White Land” didn’t started until the middle of 2012.
Dominik helped with the song “Orange Hope”, but all the other drum sections had to be MIDI programmed.
It took until the end of this year to record the whole instrumental parts of the album, and also for Manuel to leave the lyrics and voice lines ready (Michal wrote the lyrics of “Insane”).
There were transcriptions for male and female voices.
As mentioned before time doesn’t always help, and this time exactly after the recordings was Roberto the one who left. (bad christmas present…)

2013
Fortunately it only took a few months to find the new bassist Werner Haider and then arrived the singer Hannes Drobetz, and with Hannes the recordings of “Tales from a White Land” were finally finished.
The next months were dedicated to the process of mixing and master for the album.
These were made in Colombia by Juan Carlos Andrade (Mixing Engineer) and Daniel Celis Arias (Master Engineer).
In December the drummer Constantin Pammer arrived to K of Z and also the album production was finished (nice christmas presents!!!).

2014
K of Z has started to play live and released “Tales from a White Land” through the label “WENDEZEIT” owned by Hannes Drobetz.
