There's a few VIC* mixes of tracks which aren't released yet, I'll happily buy them when they are released just liked them too much to wait! MI stands for 'MIDI Intermediate' which was the second assigment title when I was at SAE learning Logic about 13 years ago.  We had to incorporate live sound recording with MIDI programming and sampling.  I chose to re-record the intro live (itself playing through iMac speakers) then fade that back into the track for that thin/transistor ambience radio vibe.  I also recorded the varoius scratching live using Serato and a 1210.   I had lots of fun programming and arranging the sampled MIDI drums on this track, (criteria stated the ESX24 had to be used so did the drums) ...this was the outcome.

Still really love this track, wish I could find the original Logic Project file and do another mix, this one is a bit bass-heavy, even for me ;)

First music I bought was Herbie Hancock's Rocket which got me interested in the breakdance scene around the age of 6...  Continued my love of music playing the drums, listening to mainly Hip Hop, then into the dance music scene around 1991 listening to pirates in London such as 88.4 Hardcore FM, Sunrise, Rush, Defection and Kool.  Started buying tunes in 1992, got decks and started making tapes, playing small house parties and illegal raves in woods.  First rave/club I attended was at Rocket on Holloway Road in 1993 and it spiralled from there.  Moved away from London was I was 16 and put on the first weekly jungle/d&b night in Norwich with friends, had DJ SS, Mickey Finn, Roni Size, Dr S Gachet etc all come and play sets.  Slowly drifted out of DJing so often.  Love music so trying to do moe with it again.  Producing and anything else.  Feedback welcome.  Peace,
