We are happy to welcome yet another new face to our ever growing artist roster, though Rico Puestel is definitely not an unknown name for fans of electronic music! Rico is - amongst many other things - a trained pianist, a self-trained guitarist, a drummer, a musicologist, a Zappa enthusiast, a struggler, a neurotic, a martyr of art and, most-notably: A genuine, perpetually driven music producer! Gregor has been a fan of Rico´s music for years, and - being blown off his socks by his recently released full length album Obi Thine Xi - had to ask Rico for some original music to be released on Break New Soil. Et voila: „Afar“ landed in our mailbox like a beacon of light in these dark times for club culture! On top of the three outstanding original tracks, we couldn´t be happier to have Alexander Kowalski working his magic on „Axioms". Once again, Alexander delivered an example to underline his status of being one of the most in-demand producers in the realm of modern electronic music! To round things off we are stoked to present a full-on peaktime rework of „Afar“ by the duo of the moment that is Joyhauser! We believe we have quite the package for you to enjoy!

137th episode of Jeton Records Radio Show welcomes Neither Nor from Antalya, Turkey. 

Neither Nor is one of the new breeds of Turkish Electronic Scene, coming from the south, from Mediterranean part of Turkey. Their sound reflects the warm character of warm sea but at the same time the anger and focus of motivation of making something unique.

Duo consists of Ogulcan & Ogulcan called ‘Neither Nor‘ from Antalya got great attention with their success of ‘Exit’ Single released in the beginning of 2022 on Jeton. They keep pushing their catalogue by releasing great labels like KD Raw and many great labels. They just delivered three trakker “Ahead of Time” EP on September on Jeton and reactions are great.

Technology is a keyword in the development of electronic music in the world and also influences the artistic evolution of João Komka. Born and raised in the heart of Brazil, Brasília, he started his career in the early 00s and always kept close to the transformations that were taking place in the scene.

He saw Electroclash coming and was hooked by the identity of this sound, creating a visceral fixation for synthesizers. Besides bet on his work as DJ and producer, Komka dedicated a great part of his life as co-founder and artistic director of 5uinto, label party responsible for putting Brasília on the route of major international tours and bringing more than 450 artists to the city. Today, disconnected from the brand, he puts his artistic career first and brings many experiences and achievements through his almost 20 years of career. As a DJ, there were dozens of gigs of the renowned D-EDGE, a constant presence at Universo Paralello, toured in Asia, performing in four cities of China and two of Indonesia, many memories throughout Brazil.

His work as a producer has already been praised by Laurent Garnier, DJ Hell, Boys Noize, and through Come and Hell, his old project with Mariana Perrelli, he released "Take Control" alongside Gui Boratto on Kompakt, also produced "Heavy Rain" with Xenia Beliayeva. In 2019, he founded his record label, I/U Music. He started 2020 with an EP on D.O.C Records, "Disconnected Rails".

Now, his true artistic essence will be printed on his first album, "Untenable System", which completely reveals all his facets, bringing dark atmospheres, analog sounds, acid and broken, carrying a message that reflects the collapse of the unfair and unsustainable current system. It is an authentic work, full of personality, with an experimental and eclectic approach that escapes the most obvious paths and proves his musical maturity.
