Our first album on the newly re-launched label comes from South Italy by our good friend Massimo Voci. Discomusic for Airports has a timely name as we are able to travel a bit more freely again & get on dance-floors little by little... piano piano... but we have a feeling Massimo has already been time traveling on his own. Here's what the artist had to say about making this album.

"When we are in an airport, every flight can take us somewhere. Each flight has different destinations, like the tracks on this record.
Now make yourself comfortable, and enjoy the flight.
Syncopated electronic basslines, synthesizers, samples, noises... all with four-on-the-floor beats. I imagined a disco party with Kraftwerk, Giorgio Moroder, Brian Eno, and other great music lovers, maybe in a beautiful place.

Air is a French music duo from Versailles, consisting of Nicolas Godin and Jean-Benoît Dunckel.
Their critically acclaimed debut album, Moon Safari, including the track "Sexy Boy", was an international success in 1998. Its follow-up, The Virgin Suicides, was the score to Sofia Coppola's first movie of the same name. The band has since released the albums 10 000 Hz Legend, Talkie Walkie, Pocket Symphony, Love 2, Le voyage dans la lune and Music for Museum. The band is influenced by a wide variety of musical styles and artists.

Après avoir enregistré quatre cassettes de dix minutes, ils ont sorti leur seul album en 1981. L'album Liaisons Dangereuses a été mixé au studio Conny Plank à Cologne. L'album contient le single Los Niños del Parque (en français: Les enfants du parc), qui est devenu un succès underground et a été cité comme influence cruciale par des DJ de la techno de Détroit, et de la Chicago house.

Le groupe fait plusieurs apparitions en direct tout au long des années 1981 et 1982, et ils sont parfois rejoints par Anita Lane (Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds) et Hideto Sasaki. L'album est réédité en 2003. Chrislo Haas est mort à Berlin en octobre 2004.

German artist and electronic music pioneer (born 6 June 1944, Tilsit, East Prussia (now Sovetsk, Kaliningrad Oblast, Russia) - died 20 January 2015, Vienna, Austria). Father of Jerome Froese.
He began his musical career in 1965 with a short-lived rock group known as The Ones. After the group's disbandment in 1967, Froese then co-founded Tangerine Dream within the same year. After decades, and a myriad of compositions, Froese remained the only original member of the band. He was married to Monique Froese from 1970 until her death in 2000; he later married Bianca Acquaye.
