New Kommuna "Silent Uproar" EP is out and feedback so far has been nothing but nice... Speaking of Nothing but Nice, label owner James Andrew has contributed with a cheeky feel-good number which we have been rinsing all year long.

Driahn has once again worked his magic providing two elegant tracks while the EP concludes in surprising fashion with pekkuliar's juke inspired piece.

For release 13 on Subsequent we didn't have to look far, in fact just explored the incredible talent of the next generation producers within the UK. The result is striking. 4 powerhouses of tracks tailored for every situation on the club floors.  A1 delivers a hell of a breaks track, whereas A2 goes into a more cinematic direction but no less powerful. B1 fires up the rolling acid while B2 is made for those heady late moments in the club.

I don’t think that it’s somehow possible to miss any of the Rawax labels family. Robert Drewek has been doing some kind of “mulenial” (I mean, iO (Mulen)-ial) work during all these years and his family of labels is, simply put, enormous. Years ago I tried to make a little guide on it with him, if you’re interested – take your Google Translate on tour with you here.

Of course, during these years it became home to a lot of artists from Ukraine. Now there will be a small addition to the bunch, since Rawax is welcoming a duo from Odesa, which you probably associate with their main electronic city spot – Port. I’m talking about Yate. The release had been planned long ago, but since there were a lot of pressing delays, it will only be released in Autumn.
