This episode aired on 4ZZZ (digital)on the 15th of May 2022. It features 2 guest mixes from upcoming DJ's in the Brisbane scene (tracklists below). 

We'll hear from Dnos first, Dnos has been DJ'ing for years, however he's only recently(ish) moved to Brissy and has started to get involved with the DNB scene here. You can expect a fairly heavy rollers mix here, as Dnos says he tends to lean towards the darker and heavier styles....

For the last hour we will be listening to a mix from Komodo (Nick). Nick's track selection, flow and mixing skills really impressed me for someone who is relatively new to DJ'ing! You won't be able to tell he's only been mixing for a couple of years as he seamlessly dances around the world of deep liquid as if it's been his tango partner for a decade. 

But before any of the mixes get started i'll be kicking the show off with some new tracks, including a Dankai track on the newly established Brisbane neuro label COVET + some aussie goodneess from Doctor Werewolf, Jaise and Chris Munky, as well as some big ones from internationals like FreQ Nasty, Zero T and Dub Phizix.

Nick Beecham, performing under the alias ‘Komodo’, is a Brisbane-based DJ mixing a variety of drum & bass, half-time and 140. Specializing in everything from techy minimal rollers to more liquid oriented tunes, his sets take you on a journey through all spectrums of underground bass music.
Mixing for a little over two years, and a regular face within Brisbane’s rave scene, he is slowly building his presence within Brisbane and hopes to continue this momentum into 2023.
