After the huge success of the original, Komorebi Audio is back with Lofi Hip Hop Vocals and Vinyl Scratch Loops Vol 2.

 

For the second instalment we tapped the same source as volume 1 with rap artist Jamell René providing vocals and BBC Radio 1 Xtra DJ “Complexion” providing the vinyl scratch loops.

In keeping with the sound of the first pack we stuck to what we know and used a Shure SM7B microphone to pick up the deep tones of Jamell while recording through a Neve 1073 hardware mic preamp and treating the vocals digitally with UAD plugins to clean up the recordings and mix the sounds to the highest quality possible.

This sample pack was created to inspire you with tight and synchronised vinyl scratch loops reminiscent of the hip hop of the late 80’s and early 90’s and a variety of different hip hop vocal samples, one shots and loops that will give a polished and modern edge to your tracks while still invoking the old school sound of years past.

Vivid Beats & Occult Electronics is a collection of warm, psychedelic, moody and dark sounds that give the listener feelings of nostalgia and thoughts of dreary memories. Drawing on inspiration ranging from Oneohtrix Point Never, Travis Scott and many video game OSTs, Jabbu sought to create a pack bursting with imagination

This pack is completely composed of outboard gear including vintage Yamaha and Casio keyboards, a Fender Telecaster, 6 and 12 string guitars, Korg Minilogue, Moog Mother 32, various small melodic and percussive hand instruments. To maintain an analog feel, a multitude of effects pedals were used to give the sounds some additional liveliness, and then every piece of audio was run through a tape deck to give that final layer of warmth.

From unique foley driven one shots, and abstract rhythmic drum patterns to warped and atmospheric melodies, Vivid Beats & Occult Electronics is here to help get the creative juices flowing when starting a new track or finalising a song.

Komorebi Audio Presents Mangata Wave and Neo Trap - The third sample pack focused around ambient trap and wave music by world renowned producer and sound design artist Kavern.
