Five years after the release of Odes - what came to mark the end of Frank & Tony’s first incarnation - the duo of Francis Harris and Anthony Collins return with a flourish.

Ahead of their new Dream Vibration EP of Francis Harris much-renowned Scissors and Thread imprint, comes Time Out Of Mind - the perfect reintroduction to the world of Frank & Tony.

Time Out Of Mind is a woozy, drifting track given shape by its sharp percs and sub bass with melodies that harken back to early 2000’s dancefloors a la Plastic City, setting the stage for the full EP to come.

Peter Kersten, and his main production and DJing alias, Lawrence, have become very heavily associated with the deep, aquatic house since the turn of the millennium.
But less widely known than his house and ambient work as Lawrence and as a co-founder of legendary German label Dial, is his production work as Sten. Having not been released as Sten since 2008, Kersten makes a powerful comeback with “Earthshine” - a 12-track LP on Sushitech.

Most of the album is dance-floor oriented, with some more laid-back bits. One of the tracks that will surely make many club appearances over the next few months is 'Freewalk', a piece revolving around its trance-influenced stabs.  It features Lawrence’s signature percussive work and punchy kicks, and we are honored to premiere it today.

Take a listen and try to resist the urge to nod your head along or fidget with your feet. Sten is back. Nature is healing.

His brand new 3-tracker "Wild Ride" shows him without a doubt in spring mood. Opener "Vereor" is a good-humored, razor-sharp tech-funker in classic Tejada style. "Wild Ride" and "Infinism" harken back to the sound of the formative Kompakt years, when artists like Dettinger, Jonas Bering and SCSI-9 defined a new minimal sound that was as elegant as it was emotional, and which feels surprisingly contemporary again in Kompakt's thirtieth year.
