Following his fourth studio album 'Kinetic Action' and the launch of AG Sounds, Sei A returns with the ‘Universal Love’ EP. Earlier this year, Los Angeles based John Tejada released "Year Of The Living Dead”. Recorded during the monumental uncertainty of 2020, this full length brought out a blissful extended moment of balance between the new and the familiar in his music. Now, Tejada invites some of his favourite producers to reinterpret tracks from the album – the legendary Warp duo Plaid set their signature style to “Abbot Of Burton, whereas Jimmy Tamborello’s Dntel project combines layers of blissful moments from “Echos Of Life” to the timbre of a flute. Lawrence is one of Kompakt’s most beloved, kindred spirits and he turns “Panacea” into a gorgeously soulful house crooner perfect for the late hours that go on and beyond. John Tejada takes a turn readapting his own album highlight “Sheltered” into a club ready mix.

The debut album ZEN of LOVE APE was released on may 10th 2021.
The album consists out of 10 tracks with different styles in music, but all with a coherent mellow vibe to it.

The label stands for diversity within underground music. For our new release we have invited 8 producers with different styles to do a remix for the album and we could not be more happy with the outcome !

Dub Taylor’s ‘Happy Valley EP’ was originally released in 2001 on the 3B label, one of the many exploits of the R.A.N.D. Posse. In recent years the rather rare vinyl copies of this Dub Techno/Dub House classic became more and more sought after and many requests to rerelease it at least in digital form, with modern mastering, came in. So D-Mark, who of course is no other than Jan Gabler, took on the challenge to finally make the three rather experimental sounding gems fit for 2022. We also added an original remix to Happy Valley. Jan aka D-Mark produced it back in 2001,  but unfortunately finished it only a few days too late to be added to the original release and therefor it was sleeping in the vaults for the last 21 years.

Live At Robert Johnson proudly presents the new »Holographic Witness« EP by Niall Mannion aka Mano le Tough!

Please enjoy four very special tracks made by experienced Irishman Mannion near beautiful Lake Zurich. Four tracks to jump into like Zurich folks jump into the Limmat to get carried away. Now here's YOUR chance to get carried away too!

Let's start with the hypnotic grooves of »Holographic Witness« with its subtle handclaps and percussions turning this bass-line driven monster to further heights - a bass-line quite reminiscent of that special Miami sound made famous by the Murk guys back in the early 90ies. Add some balearic guitar riffings and wait until that mighty bass drum comes back in after 6 minutes and you'll find yourself dreaming on a dancefloor in heaven.

Niall continues with more pounding drum sounds in next tune »Kakooja«. Stabbing synths sounds dominate this track while Niall manages to create another dreamy vibe again for this monotonous (in a very positive way that is) work of art - a dreamy vibe which can be found on any of Niall's EP's tracks. This leads us directly to »Last Floating Figh, Liufe Floating« where Mr. Mannion floats into much quieter shores. It's a very meditative affair which makes you want to listen to it over and over again once the tune comes to an end. We think that Señor Villalobos might unleash this one very soon onto some European dancefloor … don't you think?

On »Weather Master«, this EP's last track, Niall masters the art of trippy sounds for a fourth time building another dreamy hypnotic groove that is just beautiful. Maybe too beautiful for this world … we don't know, but what do we know? We're fans. Fans of Mano Le Tough who does not seem so tough at all considering his first offering for Live At Robert Johnson.

Maybe you should consider becoming a fan too - in case you aren't already …

While I'm not yet a father nor is there actually a little one quite on the way yet, I would be lying if I said I wasn't immensely excited for all of the wisdom and experience fatherhood will surely bring. 

This EP is made up of 2 tracks I re-discovered in my archive that I made almost TEN YEARS AGO! It's a marvel to contemplate how much I have grown since these were created; how many things have happened that have matured my understanding of the tapestry of life and my place within it. 

I don't claim to have all the answers today but BOY - did I absolutely not have the answers when I made these two tracks. With love and nostalgic fondness, I present to you these pieces of music I made with buckets of naïveté and an open, learning heart.

The album definitely lives up to its name. A vibrant, 12-track collection of mesmerising house threaded together by lush, beatless vignettes, it’s the producer’s most cohesive work to date and is replete with special moments and nourishing sounds.
