On every Advent Sunday 'til Christmas, Kompakt.fm will drop an exclusive mixtape from one of our artist affiliates - the second entry comes from Geoffroy Mugwump (of Mugwump fame, obviously). The Belgian DJ/Producer got behind his decks to record a rather enlightened mix, drawing from a wide-ranging selection of tracks that counterbalance glittery grooves and melodic gravitas. If you want to catch him boosting the crowd in real time, we'd suggest you pay a visit to London's Corsica Studios on December 21st, where he'll perform alongside DJ luminaries Andrew Weatherall, Sean Johnston and Ivan Smagghe. For New Year's Eve, Geoffroy will head back to his hometown Brussls to join Roman Flügel, Kiki, DC Salas and more at Leftorama's NYE bash at Bazaar.

Renowned for her genre-blending approach and sharp production skills, Brazilian-Austrian artist Joyce Muniz returns to Kompakt with her powerful new single, “Hack The System.” This track marks a bold artistic statement that goes beyond the dancefloor, merging infectious electronic rhythms with a deeper socio-political message.

When the demo of ‘Scorpio Rising’ landed in our office, we knew immediately: this has to be released in the summer! A hook is a hook is a hook. And what Lannakise sang into the mic for LOPEZHOUSE is definitely a big hook with barbs that sticks in your head. A pristine pop house masterpiece from the La Mancha native. The remix by Scottish techno legend Funk D’Void brings a deeper perspective to the mix which recalls Kompakt’s golden era sound of the 00’s and unfolds its full beauty in the early hours of the morning.

Premiere: Captain Mustache, Shubostar - Echoes Of Dolphins [DGTL Records]

When I first explored the label called Controlla, I was both shocked and surprised, and couldn't imagine such a thing existed in the audio-visual universe. Some years passed, and while it turned out we're running a Mexican-music-outlet @the_ali_x suddenly approached Complaint with crazy track ideas. Now we're talking.

Budapest's Tommy Huracán (aka @kobanya3000) made me wait over a year for this remix, but it's worth every day rolling the Rubik's around. The most consistent and perfect production of the EP, I'm proud, and have tears in my eyes each time listening to it. Thank you!
