When I first heard this track in the middle of the first lockdown, i instantly heard the support sounds that I could offer this prayer.

Culturally isolated in my home town, I took to the internet connecting with my favorite artists around the globe.

Contacting Ape, he was happy to provide the stems from the original recording.

And so the Amoriri - Tribal Bass Mix was completed through remote collaboration from Sth America to Australia.

ABOUT THE EP:
Weka Tek brings a lush organic house release to Kosa music. Two original tunes and 2 remixes from friends Transcienic (NZ) and Beatfarmer (CAN)

Team bliss came about after Brendan was deeply inspired to write a tune that captured the moments of bliss and deep connection with some of his nearest and dearest after spending an evening lying under the stars together in the New Zealand country side.

This project is his attempt to put those feelings into music.

Aquatic is an attempt to capture the thoughts and feelings of a droplet of water as it flows down stream. Starting with it surfacing from an underground spring, cascading over rocks, winding its way through forests, swirling in tranquil pools, the turmoil of a waterfall and its eventual arrival at the ocean.

BLOOMURIAN & Regenerative Activism!

This DJ set, released for the first time now with Agami Records, is an especially meaningful one to me.

I was at the main stage of Fire Flies Forest festival in a gorgeous location with lush forest, waterfalls, lakes, caves, and luminous green fireflies. The main stage (called the Crown Stage), was inside of a cave with drinkable spring water dripping from the vibrant moss within it. Other performances at that stage included Snow Raven, Gone Gone Beyond, and The Human Experience. It was an honor to DJ at that stage, which is what you’re listening to on this podcast. 

Regenerative Activism is a big part of why I do what I do.  I’ve traveled around the world for almost a decade, living at Eco-villages, visiting indigenous communities, working and performing at transformational music festivals, attending and facilitating Permaculture design courses. Now that I’m rooted in Colorado, I have a lot more time to finish and release music, and I’m grateful that my music can support regenerative activism in the world.

Hinimawé celebrates the very essence of water. Rooted in the ancient Bana Kuma wisdom map, Hinimawé is a feminine archetype that embraces understanding and emotional depth. Viewing the body as a receiver and emitter, or sah u lé, she weaves unity and spiritual harmony. Hinimawé is a patroness of meditation and art-forms that can soothe the restless mind.

In a mesmerizing symphony, the song ventures into a world of downtempo beats, harmonizing with the ethereal sounds of whales, dolphins, ocean waves, and streams. Enchanting trance-like vocals, alongside the Hand Pan and the Ngoni, converge in perfect harmony, guiding the listener into the infinite waters of remembrance.

Hinimawé is the 3rd track from the coming album called “Home” a collaborative project between Shaman’s Dream and Geometrae, featuring multi-instrumentalists, vocalists, and cutting-edge electronic production.

The story is told through the intention of each song and woven together for the listener to observe each element through the body as a felt experience.

The album begins with the sunrise, as each day begins for us here. The seed is then planted with the intention to grow and flourish, to reach the highest potential as a blooming flower. The 5 elements are explored: Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Ether. The 5 elements are needed to transform the seed into a flower, for the fullest expression to be witnessed. Once the flower has bloomed, we welcome the moon, to tap into our psychic senses and merge into the dream world once again, to begin the cycle renewed, to return Home.

This track was inspired by an iphone recording captured at a Spirit Festival in Byron Bay where the crowd was chanting in a ceremony led by Murray Kyle. The short capture was looped and edited, extra vocals from Murray Kyle where recorded and the piece was composed into an Ecstatic Dance arrangement for the purpose of community union. May this track bring your tribe together in ways never conceived before.
