Glen S is the Australia-born, Berlin-based artist behind some of the most brain-bubbling progressive and trance-inspired music this side of Y2K. His creations across the audible spectrum act as a modern lens through which the seminal Goa and chug influences of Australian electronica's rich history continue to thrive.

An entity fueled by their unwavering positive outlook, life has had no direct path for Glen. A decade designing and producing his own furniture as TLD Woodworking birthed physical representations of the creativity we still find today in his music. Colorful, gooey, and chonky - from the Bushland to Berlin, it's always been there.

Flow State is honored to present a chapter from Glen S as the third installment of our mixtape series. Allow the deep groove frequencies of the bush doof to cleanse your soul as you settle into a gentle euphoria.

Skankstasy (aka Wanda Gaimes) is a long-time member of the Berlin undercommons, known as a tireless rave agitator for @lllecken, the queer-feminist party series she co-founded in 2016, writer, curator, and more recently, DJ. Skankstasy is moved by everything that grooves, from grime to juke groove, as we see on this mix she's prepared for us. 

Raised in a post-socialist country starved for Western cultural goods, where every mixed tape had to be cherished like a treasure, she grew up in a household that listened to funk, soul and blues. Later, when she emigrated, her heart started beating for trip hop, hip hop and dub and only started raving to 4-to-the-floor beats much later in life. Behind the decks (or on the radio waves), Skankstasy likes to surf the sweet spot between different rhythms and grooves with an ambition to conjure "a future queer skank floor" and a deep appreciation for the diasporic roots of dance music. London-based DJs, Kitsta and n_o, combine forces to conjure cosmic worlds consisting of all shades of house, techno and trance. Both producing their own music and running their respective Megababes and Manual Smiles labels, they have played sets together on Kiosk Radio and Balamii, alongside traversing the London club circuit, playing sets in venues such as The Cause, Corsica Studios and Loki.
