Jan Penarrubia, a DJ from Bern and founder of the label Invite Records (2024), has been an active force in the electronic music scene since 2008. His sound blends microhouse, acid, and techno with jazz influences, securing him a solid place in the Swiss minimal techno scene. Additionally, he served as the manager of the Studio Club in Bern, a renowned venue known for its microhouse and minimal techno sound, which remained open until 2019. Under his leadership, the club played a key role in shaping the region’s electronic music landscape and attracted both local and international guests.

Junjo Records launches its first release with a four-track VA crafted by Berger, Le Fred, lerg, and Niclas. Butyrum opens with warm, mysterious tones and hypnotic rhythms — a gentle invitation into the groove. Oxytocin follows with playful energy, driven by vibrant synths and crisp percussion. Things take a darker turn with Zodiac, where eerie atmospheres and rising tension build toward a groove made for the later hours. Closing the journey, Styx dives into raw, dubby soundscapes, balancing melancholy with subtle hope. A deep, analog-rooted debut that sets the tone for Junjo’s future projects.

Armenian DJ and producer MakhmuriaN joins the Songuara family with a powerful club-focused single, “Dance With Me” – a driving piece of organic house crafted for true prime time. With over a decade of experience in DJing and production, MakhmuriaN is one of the central figures of the Armenian progressive scene. He is the founder of the Dialogue Room project, which curates intimate yet forward-thinking events in his hometown of Yerevan. His music has been released on respected imprints such as Mango Alley, RKP Recordings, Moovement Recordings and more, while on stage he has shared the booth with Ruben Karapetyan, Guy Mantzur, DJ Ruby, Space Motion, D-Formation, Chus, among others.
With “Dance With Me”, MakhmuriaN takes another confident step forward – delivering a club weapon designed for those moments when the crowd is fully locked in and ready to go all the way with the music.
