#114 presented by Tokyo based artist Ryogo Yamamori (@ryogoyamamoritracks). A brooding, eclectic mix which perfectly showcases his signature style. The Japanese producer has a sound reminiscent of the broader, ever-impressive Japanese techno scene, but always with his own signature take. 

Ryogo's DJ'ing & productions (often via his own label Kagerou),  immerse you in a dreamy atmosphere of organic & unique percussive  elements, underpinned by a sparse warmth & driving psychedelic techno energy.

We are incredibly happy to share this recording with you courtesy of one of our ultimate favorites, Claudio PRC. This 5h techno marathon was recorded at beautiful Masada in Milano at the Acquario party in April this year. 

This is what Claudio said about the Acquario collective and his relationship with them: “For me, Acquario has always been one of the most awaited and exciting dates of the year. Over time with the team we have established a very strong relationship of love and respect and the location of Masada is a truly magical place considering the fact that it takes place during the day and the crowd is among the most warm-hearted and receptive in Italy. For the next Far Blue concept, we have the second live set that has been carefully crafted by Project Indigo's Pango. Inspired by an unclear horizon, with the shades of the blue sky and sea blending, it starts out with feelings of some kind of uncertainty, and later moves on towards more comforting, settled harmonies, much like when the mist clears and the mood is restored.

'I isolated myself in my home studio over two weekends, so I could get lost in Far Blue’s theme. While making the set I always pictured the colour gradient of a faded unclear horizon. I liked the mystery and the disorientation of the idea, yet at the same time the component of water also gave me something more tangible that I could relate better to sound. Through the process of making the set, I couldn't help picturing the mental image being sunnier every time, until it pretty much became a nice day at the beach, where the horizon was quite obvious.'

A Far Blue concept by Pango (live) - 'Lost & Found'

For a long time now we have been admirers of Orion's music, which is why we are excited to say that they have composed something for Far Blue. This carefully crafted liveset featuring new materials is a melancholich piece which really captures the Far Blue feeling.

The set was recorded during a storm that hit Milan, and soundtracks the various moods of such a day. Listen carefully, and you hear the wind and rain hitting the windows.

Fresh heat incoming to Avenue Red from Ezy Fischel B2B N'djinn, a duo from Berlin whose selections are so rich, sweet, deep and fulfilling — not to mention the ridiculously silky, imperceptible transitions — it is at times difficult to take it in and process it in your mind. We are hereby served an eclectic platter of perfect summer solstice vibes. Finest vinyl-only ingredients of house, techno, electro, IDM — it's all there with a red candied cherry on top. Do not sleep on this 2.5 hour fireball of a set!!

"We set our aims on a b2b-mix what feels like ages ago, and in relative terms it is, because it was during winter '20/'21 that we reconnected (being former colleagues at a record shop) and started doing sessions. We always had a good sense of where the other one is, emotionally and musically, so it's been a wholesome journey exploring our collections in tandem.

There are numerous overlaps regarding which artists and labels we both admire, but surprisingly enough we own very few of the same singles and albums. Oftentimes when playing we discover lacunae in discographies we otherwise thought we knew, scrambling to note down an identifier, or, conversely, one of us simply starts nodding — a gesture every music head recognises — when realising exactly what record the other is bringing into the mix... ah, yes, many are the prized-but-not-necessarily-pricey tunes we've shared in ecstatic and all kinds of altered states!

Still, we've been sitting on many a recording without letting loose. After a good three years, now, it's about time we share a moment of that local synergy; fuelled by energy derived from all them creators, the initiators and innovators and elevators, the rebels and renegades of machine funk."
