We are over the moon to launch this season of Introspective Electronics’ Podcast Series with this special journey dreamed up by the mighty sonic enchantress and the soul behind Deep Mind Music - Sybil. Her presence on the local music scene and far far beyond has been steadily rising and a fiercely inspiring one, gracefully oscillating between dancefloors and deep listening spaces 💫

The mix you are listening to now is a spine-tingling presence drifting several feet off the ground, rolling like mist over still dark waters at dusk. Overheard conversations, snapshots from dreams. Tingling bells rushing across fields. A thread of thick and thin and light and dark dronescapes that sometimes hide peculiar tunes weaved by psychedelic guitars and electronics ✨🌚✨

The call of duty or is it a double date? Either way, this show, also known as Arco Spettro, is a pre-recording made many moons ago for Arpa, my dear friend Barnabe Fillon’s perfume brand. B kindly asked me to record a series of mixes representing each scent from its first sequence. One of the main inspirations for his collection was the documentary Sisters with Transistors, which focuses on female electronic music pioneers. Bearing this in mind, it seemed like a good idea to feature only female composers in these recordings. The inspiration behind the album was mainly Gilbert Williams's art, his transparently violet nature full of divine light and calmness. Apart from this, some source of inspiration also was Theosophical teachings and teachings of its masters.

The album illustrates a traveler, with long brown hair and beard, which with the touch of light become golden. His light grey eyes reflect the endless universe within. Wearing a golden tunic he travels between etheric worlds with his body of light, visiting different parts of the etheric plane. The Traveler meditates in the most beautiful gardens and forests of the plane, reaching its summits and connecting with gods and deities.
