A fresh new mix series from us at Bob & Weave. Getting on people we love to express themselves.

For the first one, I thought I’d give it a crack 😁

Expect dusty, pitched down 90s acid techno oddities, warped electro, punky moments, Kraftwerk samples. The curtains opened to let in some sunrise for the final minutes.

This mix is an ode to my time with music over my final year of uni - a very inspiring time spent playing records and dancing with pals. Plenty of tunes inside that have soundtracked wonderful times with friends. Perhaps if you spent a morning in my living room last year you may recognise a tune or two!

David Böning is a young DJ and producer based in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. He feels most at home when playing and composing grooves influenced by early New York Garage and Chicago house. 

After releasing his debut album “Patience” on Loser Records (Berlin) earlier this year, he gained notable recognition from the music scenes in Munich, Cologne, Berlin, and, of course, Frankfurt.

On his first EP for Chiwax (Frankfurt), titled “Get Down EP,” David continues to express his love for sassy, deep grooves. 

In this episode, David kicks off with late-90s deep house, followed by some disco-infused house tracks, before wrapping things up with a proper rave sound that perfectly complements the vibe of Grooveinsurance. 

A mix that truly has it all!

As their rebellious music sparks hope among the oppressed, Flying Saucer FM becomes a symbol of resistance, a lifeline for those yearning to escape the suffocating grasp of planetary rule. Despite relentless attempts to silence them, the crew keeps the signal alive, their broadcast a reminder that freedom can’t be contained.
