Delito co-founder and avid digger, Jesse presents the 16th instalment of the OOZ mix series in preparation for the OOZ outing at The Ton of Brix this Saturday, 20th July.

The mix is an intricate, trippy and atmospheric affair meandering through ambient downtempo, trippy breaks, deep techno, electro and rare house grooves.

Jesse came onto our radar due to his stripped back and alternative take on underground electronic music - this mix typifies his sound and style.

Mesdames et messieurs, la Hot Series est de retour. None other than our favorite baker Rick Baguette (@rickbaguette ) is next in our never-ending journey into the Hotbox universe. Co-founder of the infamous Hot Buns collective, Rick has been grooving his way across the country, even making the leap to our Dutch neighbors and earning well-deserved praise abroad. Rick lets the music speak for itself, influenced by the likes of Christian AB, Noizar, and Sugar Free. Like any great baker, delivering the freshest goodies around is what he does best.

For his Hotbox mix, Rick strips away the obvious and digs deeper into his sonic palette. The mix begins slowly, simmering with subtle layers, before building into a cascade of zingers. No stranger to keeping things raw and authentic, you already know this mix is a wild ride from start to finish, packed with unexpected twists and turns. 2024 has been a big year for Geoff Kirkwood, better known as Man Power. With huge EPs released on labels like Rekids, Make A Dance, Hypercolour, Sound As, and Me Me Me, he’s been as prolific as ever. In addition, he was invited to deliver both the RA Podcast and the BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, just two months apart.

Kirkwood has also launched his own venue, Are You Affiliated, in North Shields, where he’s hosted standout acts such as Caribou, Optimo, and Gerd Janson. On the DJ circuit, he’s been seen playing back-to-back sets alongside heavyweights like Skream, Special Request, La La, Daniel Avery, Ewan McVicar, Artwork, and Erol Alkan.

Globally, he’s returned to an intense touring schedule, gracing stages across Europe, the US, Latin America, and Southeast Asia. Highlights include playing at Berghain’s iconic Lab.Oratory, Hi Ibiza, and DJ Harvey’s Klymax club in Bali.

With a new FM radio residency, an upcoming nationwide UK tour, and an Ibiza residency soon to be announced, 2024 is shaping up to be a monumental year for Man Power.
