Martí Cros discovered his passion for electronic music after moving to Barcelona in 2016. While he primarily focuses on techno, bass, experimental, and downtempo, he rarely confines himself to a single genre when creating a mix, aiming to captivate listeners with immersive yet dynamic journeys.

His musical vision led him to become part of Hiru, a collective that organizes parties at LAUT club, providing a platform for both emerging talents and established names on the international scene.
He describes himself as a digital-era digger, dedicating countless hours to discover new sounds online and to meticulously organize his music collection. This allows him to find the perfect track and create the desired atmosphere every step of the way.

This 2h. set is recorded live at LAUT on the 1st of November 2024, for the 18th Hiru party. Martí delivered a mix that marked his first-ever club closing set. Showcasing his true essence, he moved through a spectrum of emotions, blending hypnotic and powerful techno with breaky, sassy bass.

There’s something oddly comforting in the idea of a dead star still sending signals — distant, mechanical, yet somehow filled with meaning. Inertia taps into that contradiction: the sensation of being impossibly far from home, yet still drawn toward something vast, unseen, and filled with memory.

Being a 90's kid was a pleasure for him as he started listening to dance music records. The first contact with dancefloor music was from a 95' compilation that his dad brought home, listening to 'Push the Feeling On by Nightcrawlers'. That was the start of the curiosity to start heading that path.

Although, before that he went through it's first musical path as a Singer for more than 3 years. It's purpose of reaching a climax towards electronic music became real in 2017, when he started studying Sound Engineering at Milan Conservatory. After finishing his studies, together with his composer brother started Segment Records in 2020. They did their first rave in Vlore, Albania on the 5'th september of the same year, going on for 3 days in the woods.

Afterwords experimentation became his language, strongly attached with the fundamentals of Techno/Detroit/Ambient/Acid House/Electro.
