With ‘Terrain,’ Joachim Spieth presents the  fourth long player on his Affin imprint. 

The follow-up album to ‘Ousia’ (2021),  ‘Terrain,’ reflects on the human relationship with nature. The album title is  a reference to a musical language that  layers Spieth’s music production practices  and intimacy with nature.   

‘Terrain’ was forged in deep solitude.“ It’s  an interplay of euphoric flashes and introspection” – says Spieth. The eight  compositions take the listener into a captivating cascade of sonic textures resembling internal states fluctuations and  emotional release. The tension between the  organic warmth and static curves broads  tones into liquified roars and empty spaces. 

Unlike Spieth’s previous albums, ‘Terrain’  holds more intimate gestures and emotional  sensibility. Soothing frequencies here are  intended to create a state of awareness in  the listener. It is a work of conceptual and emotional beauty, evoking a form of spatial  imagery that is as grounding as elevating.

Lynne quickly made a name for herself by winning the Samurai Music Mix competition and securing regular gigs at renowned venues in Tokyo. She is also a valued member of the resident artist collective at Unknown Species (@unknownspecies), a channel that showcases cutting-edge electronic music."

My Reminiscence

Guides To Behaviour was born from the desire to listen differently. Instead of presenting music as finished, polished, and explained, the podcast treats sound as a companion — something that moves beside us and quietly shapes the way we act, feel, and think.

Being a 90's kid was a pleasure for him as he started listening to dance music records. The first contact with dancefloor music was from a 95' compilation that his dad brought home, listening to 'Push the Feeling On by Nightcrawlers'. That was the start of the curiosity to start heading that path.

Although, before that he went through it's first musical path as a Singer for more than 3 years. It's purpose of reaching a climax towards electronic music became real in 2017, when he started studying Sound Engineering at Milan Conservatory. After finishing his studies, together with his composer brother started Segment Records in 2020. They did their first rave in Vlore, Albania on the 5'th september of the same year, going on for 3 days in the woods.

Afterwords experimentation became his language, strongly attached with the fundamentals of Techno/Detroit/Ambient/Acid House/Electro.
