Put simply, it can transform you, changing your sense of reality and understanding of the world around you, as well as how you feel within. That's something this rhythmic principle so dear to our dancing activities does to us regardless of tempo or setting, of place or time, and its power is what puts this mix by gifted Parisian selector Clémentine in motion by propelling it while it carries us through a vast array of moods and moments, from intimacy to flamboyancy, from our ears to our feet, from dusk till dawn. The dexterity and delicacy she uses to guide us through these varied soundscapes is something with which listeners of her delightful Mellow Madness show on LYL Radio and anyone acquainted with her curatorial efforts behind the wonderful label Chuwanaga are quite familiar. Here she takes us on a journey that tests the universal reach of that musical template and proves its efficacy in improving all aspects of life, providing this series a proper return with an auspicious vibe to the year we just entered.

This mix is a kinda ode to the Montreux Jazz Festival, which was launched in 1967 by Claude Nobs.
