For the 15th edition of re:flect radar, we present a 47 track mix by layering wizard @jangoertz

Jan Goertz's creative work is largely driven by the desire to test and redefine his limits in competition with technology. This is one of the reasons why he is known for his 4-deck mixes containing a multitude of tracks. First two and then three players simply became too boring for him. The motivation to DJ, however, also comes from the calmness that is triggered in his otherwise very bustling head during the process. And of course the fun!
His goal in djing is the creation of an "endless groove". By breaking up track structures, Jan wants to form a mix as a "unity from its individual parts, instead of just stringing songs together". He prefers to play with four players. "Vinyl is cool but more for house and smoother techno :D".
Primarily, Jan draws inspiration from the club context - both as a guest and as an artist. For him, techno is first and foremost "functional and works for and in a club. That's what this music is made for."
Key moments for the DJ, who has been active since 2013, were his 10.5-hour set at Geheimclub Magdeburg and the sprawling back to backs with Rod_a and Morgenstern. 
His role models are DVS1, Ben Klock and ROD.
A young and up-and-coming artist that he thinks we should definitely keep an eye on is @morgenstern_sb

Formerly known as Inhalt Der Nacht, Berlin’s Christoph Faust has been tightening and repurposing his craft around the crucial idea that techno should revive that all-engulfing primitive pulse that powered its initial stages and bring the dance floors back to that deep, entrancing state of mind that makes the crowd mutate into one boiling mass of energy whose course nothing can alter. From droney meanders to hi-velocity breaks, via stretches of melodic uplift and murky, sense-awakening immersion, Faust knows how to steer ravers into the deep waters of soul-healing introspection and beat-driven escapism.

Hailing from Spain and based in Berlin, up-and-comer @beatricemsc is one to keep an eye out amongst the new generation. 
She started DJing at 19, drawing inspiration mainly from powerful-based techno rhythms and melodic pads.
Now, only aged 23, emblematic dance floors such as Berghain's, Tresor's and Basement’s have already been witnesses of the vivid and energetic force that surrounds the Spanish native's sets.

Kostas aka AgainstMe is a greek Berlin-based DJ, Producer & co-founder of SOCIETY 3000 and
core member of USM Recordings.
In 2016, at the age of 17 years old, Kostas had already started his carreer under a different
alias in a wider range of electronic music. His music had been released in different labels
arround the world , but as he was young, he was still discovering hisself and what style of
music expresses him the most.
The project “AgainstMe” came in life a year later after his first Rave / Techno parties in his
home island Lesbos, Greece and It was inspired from the continuous struggle of the human
beings to align with their inner voice.

For him at that point, techno sound and “ideology” had showed up as something completely
new, uniting and revolutionary which was going against everything that he had experienced
before. The hypnotic melodies and the heavy drum patterns along with the ritualistic vibe of
these parties made him immediately fell in love with the everything around this sound and
what it stands for.
Since then, his music got released on different record labels around the world and during
2021, he managed to have three physical releases. Some of the most important releases
during the last years were, his first-ever record “Inequalities” released on Liquid Drops, his
album “Synopsis” in Subsist Records, “Melting Bodies” in Mekanika Recordings.
He has already enjoyed support from online platforms like 6am, Hate, Monument, Electronic
Groove & Beater, and artists like Umwelt, Sev Dah, Rodhad, Kangding Ray, K-Hand, Mikael
Delta, Richie Hawtin, Marco Bailey and many more. On top of that, he has collaborated with
the talented Moritz Simon Geist for his project “Raving alone”.
As a DJ, he has played in different venues / parties like About Blank, Qreclaim, Astron Bar, Six
D.O.G.S, Temple Athens, Suicide Berlin, Polygon Berlin, Kilihaus Berlin , and many more.
Currently, he has just built his new studio in Berlin and he is experimenting a lot with Modular
Systems and unorthodox producing techniques.

@moztechno, artist based in Leipzig, Germany. 

Moritz Zeiße aka MØZ, resident of the underground TENSIØN parties, made a name for himself combining the untamed rawness of evil-minded machine funk wares with proper club-focused narratives. His mixes demonstrate this to full effect, constantly maintaining a vibrant sonic trademark merged with his ability to create hip-shaking rhythms and multi-deck layers. Those who have seen him play recognize his talent to adapt his music to the circumstances. Although raw and minimalistic, his DJ output reflects a special kind of fervor, capturing an artistry and emotion that can often appear absent from the Techno genre.

Eduardo Smetana has been regularly active on the club scene in Łódź since 2017. She played in Berlin (VOID, ACUD MACHT NEU), Częstochowa (TfP Stage), Katowice (SIXA), Gdańsk (Ziemia), Kraków (Szpitalna 1, Sekta Selekta), Wrocław (Transformator, Body) and Poznań (LAB Project, Dom Technika).
A lover of a strong beat, controlled noise and precise constructions. She transfers the knowledge gained during the study of classical music to the electronic music scene, not afraid to swim between different genres. She shared the stage with Al Ferox, madwoman, Christopher Joseph, Baseck, Hadone, Stef Mendesidis and Psyk.

DJ, designer. She has been on the scene for 3 years - playing, organizing events and hosting the Anomaly podcast series. Her sets combine various genres of electronic music: from minimal techno to trance, groove, industrial and drone, characterized by an open look at techno, playing with aesthetics, tempo and emotions while maintaining energy and coherence. 
She performed in clubs such as TAMA, Schron, Lab, Oficyna, House, CEL and at the Obra and Spektrum festivals. Recently, he has also been trying her hand at music production and singing.
