The Air We Breathe is a new compilation on London based Konflict Records that showcases the label's fine breadth and depth of talent across seven new tunes.   

Antares (UK) & Balzar kick off with the deep and progressive house of The Long Walk, which is layered up with rich synth designs and cosmic melodies. Auric's Lagoa is filled with evocative synths that are packed with mystery and charm as the atmospheric drums roll deep.

Betoko picks up the pace with the slick, melodic tech house of Konflict of Interests and Iaell's Fearless is one to take you into outer space with its rich array of cosmic pads and twinkling melodies.   Martim Rola has a fresh house sound showcased here with clean bell sounds, gritty basslines and more far sighted chords on Joker, then SIB's Are We Dreaming encourages you to do just that with its wavy beats and lush hits. State (UK)'s Otherside closes down with more cuddly deep house grooves and cinematic synth designs enriching mind, body and soul.

IAELL - Fearless (Orginal Mix)

Bolivian born, based in the south of Brazil, Bakka first arrived in the spotlight back in 2020 with his collaborations alongside ZAC and Ashibah, Make It Better and So High, both of which have now clocked up over 7 million streams on Spotify between them. 

Supported by some of the biggest producers from all around the world, he collaborated with Phonique last year on Spektre, and now lands on Phonique’s new label Zatar Music with this latest EP.

Wish We Luck is a three-track release that exemplifies both the artist and label’s passion for melodic, atmospheric house music. The title track is a masterclass in building tension, with a tightly plucked lead line and gorgeous melodic flourishes building to the emotional release of a piano-led breakdown. 

What You Expect pushes further into epic progressive house territory, with its growling, seething synth lines, while rounding off the package is Too Late, a looser, more percussion-led organic house cut. 

"This EP is a true labor of love, inspired by my passion for music and the desire to create something unique and meaningful." says Bakka. "Wish Me Luck" is a melancholic and introspective journey, infused with arps from the Moog Subharmonicon. It's a musical journey through the complexities of the human experience. Each track on the EP comes with a special edition Synthapella version, featuring only the synthesizers used in the original tracks."

"I am super excited to welcome Bakka with his own solo EP on Zatar becoming one of our core artists besides Fairplay and Nilu!", says Phonique. "Shortly after first running into him at a Brazilian airport a few years ago, we connected and did our first collabs. We produced many more collabs whenever I had stops in Brazil or on his recent European tour where he also performed on the first ever Zatar showcase at Ritter Butzke in Berlin alongside Korolova."
