Muttiah Ashnim’s curation of her unique dark driving journeys and her ability to fill the dance floor through her striking style of music, have gained her rapid attention across Southeast Asia. She plays a wide range of electronic music from downtempo and progressive house, to organic house and indie dance, but deep, minimal and driving techno remains at the core of what Muttiah Ashnim has become recognised for.

The Singaporean DJ founded 'Into The Deep' in 2016, throwing underground parties all across Southeast Asia. She later moved to Yangon, where she played a prominent role in the beginning and growth of the underground music scene. Known as one of Myanmar's techno pioneers, she continues to push boundaries with her bold beats with heavy bass lines.

Muttiah Ashnim has played alongside Christian Craken, TiM TASTE, Acrobat, KONFUSIA and Bianka Banks - just to name a few international artists. She has also headlined at renowned techno venues such as Mustache (Bangkok), Red Ruby (Bali), Elysium (Kuala Lumpur), CÉ LA VI (Singapore), Fusion (Münster), Lighthouse (Koh Phangan), Goethe-Bunker (Essen) and LEVEL 2 (Yangon).

I got many requests for this set, and today is the day I finally upload it! 
My set from one of my new favorite festivals, Mit Dir, is now live on my SoundCloud page. 
Whether you want to relive the moment or hear what you missed, now's your chance.

The set includes a wide range of rolling techno bangers, groovy tech-house gems, some cheesy, melancholic tracks, but also happy driving songs that perfectly fit the festival vibe. 

You'll find an exclusive intro version of my Collab with Township Rebellion, "Your Reality," along with many unreleased tracks from me and my friends. 

I've been busy with a lot of coaching and preparing for other gigs at Ritter Butzke and Praerie Festival, but I believe the wait was worth it.

I hope you enjoy the set as much as I enjoyed playing it.

This one was Special ☺️💫

Das WANNDA gehört wohl zu einem der schönsten und schillerndsten Open Airs in München. Wie oft ich dort schon seit Jahren, ausgiebig getanzt und für einige traumhafte Stunden die Zeit um mich herum vergessen und mich dem bunten Treiben einfach hingegeben habe! 

Umso mehr habe ich mich gefreut, dass ich nun selbst die Chance hatte am 03.08.24 den Stick in die Hand zu nehmen und diese bunte wilde Meute zum Tanzen zu bringen. 

Und was soll ich sagen, aus den geplanten 3, wurden am Ende 4 Stunden volle Ekstase aufm Dancefloor 🥵eine wilde Karusellfahrt von Techhouse zu Minimal zu Peaktime auf Psy zurück zu Techhouse , ich konnte alle Shabiki Facetten in 4 Stunden zum Ausdruck bringen und es war eine Wucht! 🤩💥 

Zwar diesmal „less Techno more Techhouse“ aber dennoch 100% Shabiki 🥰

Hier habt ihr den Live Mitschnitt der 4-Stunden Rundumklatsche zum Nachhören für diejenigen die dabei waren und nochmal in Erinnerungen schwelgen wollen und zum Neuentdecken für diejenigen die es leider verpasst haben!

This was one of the best experiences so far. I feel really grateful to have had the opportunity to play on this legendary floor, surrounded by many of my closest friends and colleagues, with an outstanding light show and crowd.

I challenged myself to start with my signature sound and gradually pick up the pace, ending with the perfect melodic touch by sunrise.
