This was an amazing party. 
Every other sunday, Unfold runs midday to midnight. 
I played 6.30 - 8pm 
The place was dark, packed, sweaty and the atmosphere was incredible and intense in the very best way. 
The DJ booth is in the middle of the dancefloor with the crowd all around you and the energy feeding back to me was unbelievable.
One i won't forget in a hurry. 
Thanks to the team at Fold for continuing to provide such a special sunday service.

I am delighted to present legendary American DJ and producer, hailing from Chicago, Mr. Robert Armani https://soundcloud.com/djrobertarmani

Robert Armani needs no introduction whatsoever. He was one of the first international techno DJs I saw play live in Dublin (The Kitchen) back in the late nineties. I had the poster for the event on my wall for years, so to say I am a fan is an understatement.

Most everyone will know Robert Armani from his classic releases on Dance Mania records - CIRCUS BELLS (famously remixed by Hardfloor) and AMBULANCE being up there at the top of any list.

As well as Dance Manie, he has a slew of releases on loads of labels including Alternative Current also known as ACV Records, an Italian Experimental Techno-label.

His track Hit Hard was re-released on vinyl in 2022 on Music Man records and hits just as hard today as it did when first released.

Tinfoil is the joint project of DeFeKT and Sunil Sharpe. Initially forged as a studio collaboration in 2014 (and more recently as a live show), the pair have since racked up an impressive catalogue of 12"s on their own self-titled label. Tinfoil's sound is a unique one in techno today, reflecting the versatility of both artists, and their combined know-how of techno and electro. Their fervent approach to playing live is demonstrated through 100% improvised sets - where various hardware units are busily manipulated, strange live vocals are often added, and electrifying bursts of energy disarrange the dancefloor.

Known for fast paced, dark and somewhat distorted rhythms this energetic and charismatic Dj is huge fan of hardware synthesizers, FXs, drum machines, Eurorack and his studio is own sanctuary of creation. Gustavo place emphasis on all crevices of the electronic music spectrum, which is r eflected on side pr ojects doing ambient and dr one music and the sets he pieces together from his sound collection.
A Thousand Details has fast become recognized as a seasoned digger having the opportunity of playing throughout Portugal and at most of the major clubs in Porto such us GARE, Plano B as well as Neopop festival.
