Dans Une Autre Vie

Musically the inspiration for this one came from first hearing Lee's "Piano at midnight" that he posted on Soundcloud some time back. It was a short, moody piano and strings instrumental. I loved the piece and wanted to do something more with it, I e-mailed Lee for his thoughts about my idea and his answer was something along the lines of "Fill your boots mate", so I have.

This is the 3rd, and probably, final piece in our medieval story of warriors bold (but hopefully not the last time that I will work with Lee), and sees our heroes return home to a world that hasn't changed, but they have........

This track was a pleasure to work on: firstly, using a piece of Lee's outstanding work as the starting point, and, once the arrangement and lyrics were finalised, hearing the transformation during Lee's production work, the addition of some further outstanding piano, and to crown it all Lee's superb vocal delivery.

This has been a true collaboration in every sense and I thank lee for his great contribution.
