Konsequent was founded by Persian-born, Berlin resident Maral Salmassi who has enlisted many of the leading producers to support the project with reworks including the likes of Jonas Kopp, Inigo Kennedy, Jeroen Search, Psyk, Sleeparchive, Zadig and many, many more.

Simply titled Remixes it’s just that, including four new reworks of what seem to be a bevy of unreleased works by Kernel Existence, that may or may not see the light of day to come. Remixes from Messiahwaits, d Func. aka Alexander Kowalski, WHT MOTH and Electric Indigo.

Austria-based Electric Indigo graced us with our landmark podcast (DTMIX100) over 5 years ago and will always be a shining light with over 30 years of influence in music production and the club scene, so we are always pleased to hear her creations that have featured on Ostgut Ton and DJ Hell’s Gigolo Tapes for example.

For this DT:Premiere we selected the remix “Asist” that is an exploration of sound design. A signature take on techno, it’s dripping in electronic energy, pulses and glitches to teleport you into a dystopian world of abstract creativity.

MasCon combines the harshness of techno with melodic synth lines, giving his sound a blend of pain and love in diverse percentages.

In this time of Social Media futileness, true music is a rare species, promotional wise. But here we still trust the power of music and the amounts of hours spent in the studio. This is the case with this MasCon project, where he twists and mangle his tools extensively to produce pieces of timeless advanced dance music, and we are really happy to premiere it.

In this latest EP on Konsequent Records, combining his production prowess for four original tracks that deliver a combination of DJ techno tools and straight-to-the-floor goodness.

He performs both DJ and live sets across Europe and is the founder of Recorded Things, a label that has gained strong recognition since 2021. 

Rosemann is also involved in collaborations with artists such as Pfirter, Alexander Kowalski and Jonas Kopp.

Konsequent Records is a Berlin-based techno label founded in 1997 in Cologne by Maral Salmassi. In the early years, Konsequent was home to some of the first releases by artists like Christian Morgenstern or Alexander Kowalski. Furthermore, the back catalog offers releases and remixes by Jay Denham, Thomas Brinkmann, Johannes Heil, Ben Sims, Fanon Flowers, Claude Young, Cari Lekebush and The Advent, among others.
