Cooking up a new mix! Fetch her an apron!

The five-track album kicks off with ‘I Don’t Need It (ft. Casey Russell)’. An ultra-funky 70’s sounding bass line gets things grooving immediately. Funky clavinet and guitars support Russell’s (from the Magic Beans) catchy keyboard riff. Up next the title track ‘Feel So Strong’ is a boogie jam displaying Luke’s rhythm and lead guitar stylings interplaying with retro-tinged vocal chops. Vinyl crackles cue up ‘Lose My Mind’. Jazzy flute, slap funk bass, and synths all combine for a powerful drop. ‘Let’s Just Groove’ ​veers into disco-house territory with Studio 54 violin runs, and a rubbery bass line. The final track ‘Amsterdam’ is a veritable kitchen sink of sound with warm stand-up bass supporting dusty piano, harp arpeggios, analog synth in a lo-fi house mood.

I feel like I really hit my stride this summer with being given the opportunities to present the music that I love to mix the most and am really feeling the love in the response to it. So thank you to everyone that provided those spaces, and to all those who were there to share it...
