EKDZ is a Krakow-based hard techno DJ who started his journey just over a year ago at VG DJ LAB. By day, he delivers AI solutions to businesses, and by night, he shifts to delivering fast and hard-hitting sets that blend hard techno, hard trance, and elements of breakbeat. With a focus on guiding die-hards through different moods and energies, he aims to keep the dancefloor moving faster and harder without limiting himself to a single style. Over the past crazy year, he’s had the chance to play in several Polish clubs and festivals, sharing his soundscapes and infectious drive.

James Kite, a graduate of the legendary Technical School of Music Mechanization, where from his youth he became familiar with the Berlin sounds straight from the radio. His attention has always been drawn to deep, low frequencies and a strong beat. After years of working on various musical projects, under the nickname James Kite he decided to also take up a position behind the DJ console. The raw and hypnotic styles are closest to his heart, they are where he feels best, although he sometimes ventures into industrial, hard, deep, and sometimes melodic directions in his musical landscapes. He is not interested in commercialism or remixes of radio hits - it should be strong, energetic and raw.

This podcast was created specifically for the open DJ contest held by Home Again Club Festival 2025 in Berlin.
80 minutes of trueschool groovy techno – a linear selection designed for a late-night club experience and an intense dancefloor.

Home Again Club Festival 2025 Dj Contest: - Dark Majesty

SCHRZØ, is the solo project of Julen Alza, Recording and mixing artist currently based in
Valencia, Spain.

Before his debut at the techno scene in 2020, he passed from all kind of electronic and acoustic
genre working as a producer and mixer. In this process, he creates his own unique style, with touches of industrial and distinct symbiosis of strong emotions.

He released his first album in 2021 on Diffuse Reality Label and other several EPs & Remixes on some labels as Trau-ma, Newrythmic, Inphase and Tsekhi.

Although he has played his productions as a Dj, Live sets are his true forte. He is known for
playing with modular stuff and finding a symbiosis between improvisation and perfection.

This set is my submission for DJ LAB PRO – an initiative created by VG Lab, Virtual Geisha, LiveMX and Carbon Festival: people and projects who have been passionately shaping the independent techno scene in Poland for years – promoting uncompromising artists, educating new generations of DJs, and consistently choosing authenticity

Voinar is full of joy and passion, and for many years, his world has been filled with Techno.
He values authenticity, tradition, and music that everyone can interpret in their own way. The sound of vinyl records has become his true passion. He never conformed to digital standards, instead exploring his inspirations beyond conventional boundaries. Hardgroove, dark, hypnotic Techno – this is the style where he feels most at home. In his sets, he always likes to include an element of surprise – something that happens spontaneously.
The word “spirit” fits him well – he occasionally haunts music clubs, and as we know, the soul is eternal.
My first contact with records was in the early 2000s – an incredible feeling (though I had been thinking about them long before).
It was wonderful! Like getting a piece of candy :D I didn’t need convincing – I knew right away it was something amazing :)
In 2003, at the Mayday concert – Liebing, Tomcraft, Angelo Mike... they were phenomenal. So many inspirations :)
The records that shaped me are fantastic – they’re also the ones through which I learned the style...

The early days of learning were very difficult. At times, it felt impossible to sync two records for more than a few seconds. This style is different – you don’t look, you listen... that’s where the magic is :)

Nightfall is a talented Warsaw DJ with a unique techno selection. During his sets, he combines abstract, deep, spatial and hypnotic sounds into a story. Entering the stage at a mature age allowed him to look at music and the role of the artist in a unique, unusual way. 
Despite his short experience on stage, he has already played before Ellen Allien. He stood behind the decks for the first time in Transformator and then, at an express pace, he also performed at Smolna, Luzztro, Schron, Cel, Prozak, Noce KRK, Willa w Parku and Hala Odra. Played at the Carbon Silesia Festival and the Labirynt Fest in Łódź.
Propagator of the classic techno and co-founder of the Havoc Fractal collective. Graduate of the Institute of Sound, professing the principle "Techno is not about BPM. It is all about groove". Music is his passion and playing is a way to express the emotions dormant within him.
