It includes 12 tracks dated 2020 - 2022 and presents techstep, postliquid, rolling beats, industrial and neuro sound elements, triumphant-dark atmospheric patterns, jump-up grooves, heavy metal samples, 808 and Reece basslines, Hoover synths. The musical spectrum of "Black Album" is much wider than all the above mentioned and presents a dynamic, modern and highly dancefloor drum'n'bass selection.

Locked Concept's second drop of 2023 sees a return of Tellus to our Horizons release series.

The Horizons series looks to move away from the label's drum and bass roots, with the Loops EP as no exception. The four tracks range between 130 - 140 bpm and draw influence from across the spectrum of electronic music while still maintaining a signature Tellus sound.

It's not entirely fair to give Tellus full credit on this EP, as each track was started during a music production class at the high school he teaches at. Whether it was suggestions on which samples to use, recommendations on certain songs to draw influence from, input on the cover art, or simply the patience to sit through a tutorial on some component of producing, numerous high school students have had some form of influence or input on the creation of this four track EP.

Russian born Queensway is an upcoming experimental force set to run rampant around the deep, experimental bowels of the electronic scene. A very versatile artist by his nature, the young (now) Ukrainian let forth with his first four track abomination of moody calm, ?The Sixth Race EP? on ABSYS DIGITAL. Utilizing a variation of styles, including downtempo, trip-hop, half-step, and minimal, this album is a rainbow of many flavors to keep listeners on edge and wondering what?s coming next. Emotional yet uplifting, complexity is key in the composition of these masterpieces; and QUEENSWAY?s future is definitely shining bright as one of the genre?s future superstars. Angelic pads, chords and a euphoric male vocal introduce Queensway?s debut album on Sync: Saphir with AUTOMATIC LOVER. Children are heard playing in the background while a male vocal lulls the listener into the futuristic melodies of DARLIN. Both tribal and ethereal in nature, the vocal cuts through before coming to a tranquil breakdown of pads and exuberance. The main vocal comes rollin? through as the drop hits. FEEL SEXUAL employs the vocal from Amber?s well known hit from 2000, ?Sexual,? although in a much more somber mood here. Elegant melodies layered exquisitely personalize the tone as MAN WALKS ON THE MOON. The heartbeat increases, putting the listener in a meditative state as the narrator directs this soulful journey. Full bass pushes through the speakers as abstract canvases are constructed of layered instrumentation. Touching back down to our planet, PATH TO THE SEA, brings sounds of children playing in majestic waters as a pager beep leads to the rush of rolling, thunderous bass and a moving male melody. Flutes accent the harmonic ballad as ST. VALENTINE steps through the next door. As if in a movie sequence, serious-mattered female vocals ask the questions while morose basslines lay under a field of sound design, ironically resembling cocked guns and slamming doors. STAY follows in the path of its predecessor, again creating a cinematic picture. Saintly spoken lines rest atop simplified drum hits and powerful lows. STUTTER brings the melodic side of QUEENSWAY back, once again brilliantly layering each set of arpeggios on the keys. Marimba glissandos echo throughout the backdrop as blips and pads lead into SUMMER JAM. Very danceable and intense, the Ukraine transplant utilizes a very spiritual, legato male to inspire this earthly piece. Sax riffs are heard at points, and QUEENSWAY?s very deep style is meticulously apparent by this point. THE SAD STORY OF NATIONS drips tears where all man stands. Martin Luther King?s famous ?I Have A Dream? speech sparks inspiration in the listener. Muted trumpets and synthesized strings create the orchestration. THINKING ABOUT YOU picks up the pace, leading out of that dark tunnel. Uplifting female vocals make their identity while a pumping bassline leads into this dance-inducing number. MESSAGE finishes out this tremendous tour de force. Anyone not inspired by this work of genius should really go back and listen to this album again. One last dose of melody, magnificent layering and a heart-woven female vocal carry the downtempo vibes out to the ending.

EAN’s  folk  band  STICK  IN  THE  WHEEL turn  to  long  time  known  associateO m  Unitf or  a  blistering version  of  “As  I  Roved  Out”.  The track  from  Stick  In  The  Wheel’s  critically  acclaimed  album  ‘Follow  Them  True’  is  also  remixed  by  EAN  himself.

Stanislav Sevostyanikhin is a Russian electronic music artist, DJ and label owner, known under the pseudonyms Dissident and Kontext. Residing in St.Petersburg, he spends most of his time slicing beats, synthesizing sounds and shaping trends in modern music  culture. His broad range of influences have shaped his diverse and innovative style, although primarily focused on Drum& Bass, Stan has never restricted his music to one style or genre. 
Stan began electronic music production in the late 90's. After gaining some studio experience he formed the Drum & Bass group Dissonance with friends. They had some success nationally in Russia with their live performances and releases . In 2001 he left the project and went on to produce solo under the Dissident moniker  honing and polishing his sound until his first 12” vinyl release “Technecium” (ft. Paul B) was released on the prestigious British record label Renegade Hardware in 2002. 
Today, Dissident is considered a veteran of the Russian Drum & Bass scene. His discography includes 9 albums and a multitude of 12” singles and EPs on labels such as Offshore, Hospital, Subtle Audio, KOS.MOS, Microfunk, Subvert Central, Counter Intelligence,  Subtle Audio, Pinecone Moonshine and many others. 
Under the guise of Kontext, he set out to write music without being bound by genre, showcasing the diversity and extent of Stan’s production skills and his experiments with Techno, Bass Music, IDM. Kontext was exclusively signed to Bristol-based label Immerse  and has received great press from magazines like FACT, DE:Bug, Knowledge, Groove, TimeOut & SPb. 
“It's kind of special to consider how it can hit you so hard when it's so measured and built so simply; and for me that's one of the marks of a fantastic talent.” (Oli Marlow, The Quietus)
As a DJ he has performed across the globe, known for his own Spare Senses mix series and podcasts for Electronic Explorations, Bassdrive, Jungletrain, Atmoteka and many more.
If all this wasn't enough to keep Stan busy, he also runs his own Opposide Records imprint and is involved in several side projects including TV & Movie production.
